  1. I'm four months out and take a stool softener daily.
  2. I started my process in August 2014 and didn't have surgery until 07/29/15. It took an entire year to satisfy all the requirements, plus the wait time in between. I know how you feel - it's agony waiting. But I can promise you this. When you finally get there, all this waiting time will feel like nothing. And it's so worth everything you go through. So hang in there and use the time to learn all you can, and start making those lifestyle changes now. I kept a video journal from day one and that helped me a lot. Plus it's great to go back to and see how far I've come. You can do this! Best wishes!
  3. Good for you for taking corrections. I know you'll be a great success!
  4. That's wonderful that everything is planned and lined up. Doubly fantastic that you've already got a surgery date! I started my process in August 2014 and didn't get my surgery date until June 2015 for July! The wait was worth it though, as yours will be. Congrats!
  5. I never had a problem drinking from the get go. Never really had to sip and I can pretty much gulp too. But eating - definitely feel the restriction.
  6. You won't be sorry, and it'll be worth all the pre op work. Best decision I ever made!
  7. Thanks for sharing the funnies!
  8. Whoop Whoop Whoop! You get an extra whoop, just cuz I like you. ???? Congrats!
  9. Sounds like you've been through a lot. So happy to hear you finally got your approval!
  10. You definitely look like you've lost over 80 pounds! You look fantastic!
  11. Congrats on your surgery day! Don't forget long or extension charger cords for your phone. Mine didn't reach. ????
  12. Congrats Kate! You are definitely a winner! ????
  13. Welcome and congrats on the beginning of your weight loss surgery journey!
  14. Congrats on your surgery! Glad to hear everything went so well!
  15. Those emotions and cravings are always the most intense over the first month or so. It'll get easier as you get further out. Do your best to adhere to the proper diet and exercise regimens. The more you commit yourself to a healthy lifestyle now the more ingrained it'll become later on. Looking at the big picture, all you're giving up is well worth what you're going to get in return. I definitely have no regrets! Best wishes!
  16. That's amazing news! Congrats!
  17. Mine doesn't expire until 2018. By then I figure I'll be at the weight I want to be and will have been maintaining for a little over a year (had surgery on 07/29/15). So I think I'll wait until then. It'll be a milestone I can look forward to achieving. Plus the novelty of actually giving my correct weight. ????
  18. The lovely thing about compliments is they never expire. Take it and relive it again and again, always good for an unexpected goofy smile that'll have people wondering what's up. Congrats!
  19. Congrats on your four month anniversary!
  20. Would you still love him before and after? If so, then there's no reason to put the cart before the horse. What will happen will happen. Be happy he's offering his support.
