You are correct. Pick yourself up and keep going. I just finished day 6 today and it is tough. I keep telling myself if I cheat my liver will tell my doctor. dinner time is the worst. You are doing great and you will overcome.

You are me!! Minus the husband and 8 and 9 year old. Been overweight my whole life. 42 years old. 5'4". Oct. 7th date. Yeah!!! -
I looked forward to the liquid diet just because it meant surgery was only 2 weeks away. I am on day 4. chicken broth has been a life saver. I have not been hungry. Start of small headache if I go too long between Protein shakes. I am good as long as there is no more than 3 hours. Good luck to you all. 10 days to surgery!! Super excited.

I have been pretty fortunate that the pre-op liquid diet has kept me satisfied. Chicken broth is my new best friend. I make most my own drinks and like experimenting. The light muscle milk vanilla is my favorite as far as store bought. It only has 15 grams of protein... But you can have 2 for one meal and it meets my requirements from my surgeon. I drink tons of water so I won't have any back up. (Wink wink). -
I just finished day 3 and it really has been surprisingly not as bad as I thought it would. But it might just be a mind set. And I love making different smoothie drinks.

Find sugar free creamer. Which usually has very few carbs and add it to your Protein powder with Water or almond milk. -

I completely agree. And such a lifesaver to talk prior when you're going crazy waiting for your date!!!!
