  2. I had my test the 15th and go talk to the Dr. today about it. Thanks for the information on this. Makes me feel better. I am on medicine for depression too.
  3. I didn't have the surgery yet. I just had my first appointment. Praying the surgery will be set before the end of the year, so my insurance will cover it all. Kim

  5. Patty that is great! WOW you came home the same day!?! My Dr. told me Friday that I will be in overnight. I am waiting to hear when my surgery date will be. Praying it will be before the end of the year, my insurance covers it all if I can get it in before Jan 1st. I have my Endo. Thursday morning. And all the other things will be scheduled on Monday. Hope you are feeling better every day! Kim
  6. Yeah that is so funny. My Dr. doesn't let me have regular foods till week 4. But the rest is like yours. I go Friday I am so excited! Kim
  7. OH that is so good that it doesn't hurt your throat or stomach to do the drinking. OH that does sound really good! I love chocolate too and 20 g of protein is AWESOME!!!!! You don't have to do clear liquids for 2 weeks? I have been suprised at how different dr.'s have different meal/liquid plans. But they must be working! So many on here have lost so much! It just makes me so excited to get banded! Kim

  10. Tonks that is awesome! Only 19 lbs to go! I so can't wait till I am there. I just want to get healthy and be able to enjoy my children before they are all gone from home. My oldest is almost 19 years and will be going away to college next year. So hopefully I will get this surgery done soon and be able to get some energy to help her prepare for college and all!
  11. Kimmi congratulations on your surgery! I hope you will feel better soon. You will see those pounds start dropping and forget all about the discomfort your feeling now. I haven't had mine yet, but my Dr. said that with me having my gall bladder out, it is about the same thing. So hopefully I will do good. Try to drink and walk!
  12. Welcome. I just joined this week too. I haven't had my surgery yet, I go Nov. 2nd for my first appointment with the surgeon. I have done all the paperwork and the family Dr. has filled out all his stuf too and sent the letter and 12 month eval to the surgeons office. So hoping I will be able to get my surgery done before the end of the year!
  13. I haven't been banded yet. I go for my first appointment with the surgeon on Nov. 2nd. I am so excited to get this done and get on with losing weight and getting healthy again!
  14. My first appt. is 11/2 too! That is cool, we will be in this together! :gluck:
