I am also on the night shift and there is no set schedule as to when I eat my meals. I usually wake up about 3pm then have dinner with the family. Then around 12:30am I have my lunch and have a small meal when I'm home around 7:30am. I haven't been banded yet. Aug. 3 is the big day. Maybe after the band things will change I'm so messed up now with broken sleep. Sometimes I eat just to try and stay awake.

yipeee I just got the call I'm insurance approved. I can't believe it I was all most certain I was going to be denied. My bmi is 38. Now this is real going to happen on aug. 3. I can't wait to be skinny!!!!

I've come across an ad Live surgery webcast on July 27, 2005 at 4:30pm eastern stardard time. This is being performed at Brigham and Women's hosp. in boston. The site is www.brighamandwomens.org/surgerywebcast to register to view. I thought it may be of interest for the not so squimish.

I'm getting mine Aug. 3 I'm terrified and exciting all at the same time. I just want to have a smooth recovery thats not too much to ask is it.....

well i'm getting banded on aug. 3 and i'm very nervous. At the same time i'm excited to get started. I turned 40 this year and i'm starting a new and heathier chapter in my life. I'm afraid i won't be able to stick to the liquid diet for the 3 weeks.
