Good Morning, Well, no rest for the weary.... cleaning here we come *YAWN* Betty you make me smile too :mad: I'm glad your getting some sun. Do they really drain the entire pool and refill it? I would think they would wait for the dirt to settle and then vacuum it but wtf do I know? lol I have no plans for the holiday, I'm working the day before it and day after so theres not much fun there ya know. My DH just had serious eye surgery this week so we are going to take it easy the next two weeks or at least until the stitches come out ick. Cindy I know what you mean about the makeup and curling iron. I look so different with mascara on and I feel better with it on too *cheezy grin* Mom's birthday is today but we're going there tomorrow to say HB. Other than that..... sosdd. Whats brewing with you chickies this weekend? .

Kat, you are a very strong woman and I am SO sorry you had to go thru that bullchit with that man and I'm so sorry for the loss of your babies. You are all in my prayers. Also remember, God hears you so don't ever stop talking to Him. Betty I'm sorry about your fish, I have two gold fish that I love dearly...call it silly but I do. I hope you all dry up down there, I am seeing to much devastation on TV lately about Texas and the floods. Be safe. Crispy girl, good to see you. Bet your gonna look beautiful. Well kiddo's, I gotta get going. DH had eye surgery yesterday and he can't see out of both eyes today so I'm taking him back to the hospital for followup. This is normal as far as the procedure goes. He has Pterygium Pterygium He had stemcell graph put in his eye instead of using his own eye for the graph which is amazing. August/September he goes back for his other eye...poor thing, he was in so much pain yesterday. Anyway....off to the doc's. Catch you chickies all later. Oh and cindy, I am far from eating from a straw... I can eat so much it isn't funny, you'd fall over if you saw me eat. And trust me, I go very slow with fills, 1 every 6 months maybe is slow if ya ask me LOL. Okay kids, I gotta toodle. Have a groovy week, whats left of it. :confused:

When I was on Atkins, I used to take a frying pan (non stick) and sprinkle about 1/4 - 1/2 cup of grated parm cheese (any brand) Let it melt and brown (like a pancake), flip it over and do the other side. Take it out and let it sit on a plate to cool. It will harden and then you can break it apart. These were great to use as crutons in my salad. .

I love veggie burgers. My favorite are Morning Star Garden Burgers mmm mmmm only 100 calories (approx.) each. And if your in a hurry just nuke them. Can't wait to hear your review on this recipe. NJ

Happy Saturday Chickies Sorry I didn't get to post this morning, I had to drive DH to work so I was out of the house early and when I got back....yeah..you know what I'm gonna say next....it was cleaning. We bought a bigger fish tank for my two ginormous gold fish LOL they are loving it but what a job LOL. Then it was food shopping, eating dinner (a bologna sandwich OY) at 8 PM and I'm just sitting down now. Its very cool outside, very nice but the skeeters are still out...hate them freakin things. Dianne, feel better hon. Clots are scary to say the least. Patty I'm so sorry to hear about that little boy, my gosh. My prayers are with you all and his family. WHOOOT !!!! to you for feeling so good and losing 20 lbs. You go girl. Well my lovies, I gotta run. Gotta get DD to bed, its getting late and tomorrow is church and the church picnic. Good Morning and Happy Moanday Heading into work late today, I have to bring DD to her new school (well in september it will be new) so they can test her for 1st grade. She is very excited and nervous at the same time...new faces, new places. Did you all see that movie Norbit with Eddy Murphy? OMG is it funny. Sad in a way that they make fun of her b/c of her weight but they make fun of everything these days. I laughed so hard. The movie was stupid but funny (my kinda movies). Eddy played 3 characters, the chinese guy, norbit and his wife LOL, the makeup was amazing and how they made her body look real is mind boggling. Anyone hear from Beanie and Darcy ???? Well kiddo's I gotta get some makeup on this mug of mine and get dressed or I'm gonna wind up calling in sick today LOLOLOL. Talk to you sooooooooooon !!!!! Toodles .

Mock Potato salad I figured since summer is upon us I'd post this recipe. My sister who HATES cauliflower loves this. This recipe can be made just like the way you make regular potato salad just using the cauliflower instead, so use what ever ingredients you want...enjoy !!!!! 1 large bag of frozen cauliflower cooked & let cool off (but don't cook to death making it mushy, thats why frozen works better than fresh..less mushy) Mayo (you use less b/c cauliflower is a little watery) Onion or Celery (to your taste) Hard Boiled Egg (optional) Salt and pepper (to your taste) Grape Tomatoes (optional) Bacon cooked and crumbled (optional) Dill (to your taste) Splash of Pickle juice (yes, pickle juice, it has all the seasoning in it you could ask for including vinegar, you could use sweet, or dill, or garlic, any kind works with any taste buds) Just add a little of each above until you get it to a potato salad consistency... NOT SOUPY !!!!! SEE !! ITS THAT EASY and a heck of a lot less calories then using regular potatoes. Happy BBQing __________________

I usually make a list and start working off of that and exactly like you said, every little bit helps. Piano is awesome!! glad DD found something she is interested in. I have hearing loss in both ears and always wanted to play an instrument but never did b/c of that so WHOOOT to her. Sherry Sherry Sherry...... I'm sorry your down on your WL but just like Cindy said...you have to look at that whoppin 75 lbs as a positive. Put it back on (mentally) and imagine how you would feel then ???? Hi Girls, My stars Cindy.... I think your family is related to mine. Money sure does change people. I dread to think whats gonna happen when my Mom passes...thats when my brothers fangs will come out. They won't lift a finger to help her but when it comes down to that time, they surely will have their hands out first.... what can you do. Money sure does show a persons true colors doesn't it. Your not alone and you certainly don't need to keep people like that in your life. You don't deserve it and neither does your DD or DH. So how is everyone this beautiful weekend? I am going to PA for a few days starting tomorrow and today I woke up with a hum dinger of a cold..nice huh. I haven't been away in 17 years....figures LOLOL haaaaa! gotta laugh. Sooo today I'll be cleaning the crud out of my house b/c my friend is staying here while we're gone..... Yes a friend, not a family member...that should tell you something LOL. My fill went well but I don't think it made any difference...I can still eat a ton of food LOL well not a ton but alot. So after vacation I'll prob go back and get a weeeeeee bit more. Hi Girls, Happy Memorial Day... bitter sweet day wouldn't you say :drum: I'm pooped, I was SUPPOSED to clean the house this weekend but since the pool is open...forgedaboutit!! I really have to clean it b/c my friend is babysitting my dog / house next weekend (sunday - tuesday) so we can go to hershey park with dd. I'd hate for the house to be messy. Its not dirty, just so much chit all over the place. Anyway... Sales today...gonna get new sneakers and a fancy new washer / dryer, the new top loading one. The colors are cool, they have an awesome red but it won't match my decor so we'll prob go blue or white. The fill is working some what, I'm not hungry in the morning which feels devine...but at night I can pound down the food... oy... Heck I'll take it !!! I'm at 2.5 in the band and hate to get any tighter b/c shooot I'd be afraid....vedddddddddddddddy afraid LOLOL. Anywhooo... I gotta run and shower. Have a blessed day all. Luv yah !! Hi Girls, Its hot out there....love it ! Sherry, 75 is a little to cold for me but lots of people like it cooler than warmer. I bought a Richard Simmons steamer and I'm gonna test it out tonight with some fish and veggies.... Hi Honey I'm Home I am so looking foward to three days off uhhhhhh. Its warm here in jersey, me and DD just got out of the pool. Swimming in NJ in May is unheard of LOL, most people only take the covers off their pools this weekend and it usually takes a few weeks for the water to warm up. The water was 85 degrees tonight, perfect. Patty I'm glad things are calming down and your feeling better. Yes it takes a few weeks to feel some what normal so be careful. Happy Birthday to the boys. Sorry to hear Ex make a stupid call as to leave the boys unattended for that long WTH is wrong with him. Kat, how is Rick feeling? Chrispy you look BEAUTIFUL !!! that dress and flowers are so pretty. Ohh... I'm getting a fill on the 23rd.... Boy can I eat alot of food and its time to CHIT or get off the pot so to speak. I need to start losing weight again. I was to comfortable with the amount of food I was / am able to eat... I was enjoying it but its time to break away from that feeling or I'm doomed. My last fill was over 6 months ago so I should be okay. Summer's here (almost) and I need to get into smaller pants :mad:
