Thanks again everyone !!! I'm feeling just aweful this morning..... gee, could it be on top of all this, Aunt Flo decided to pay me a visit. OY! Talk about freaking out at first LOL. Heather, I am crushing up the meds and taking 1 every 3 hours, it seems to be working out better that way. I feels like when you crush the meds, it works faster but it doesn't last as long. So instead of 2 every 4 hours I take 1 every 2 1/2 - 3 hours You know, I remember reading some where on these boards that somebody went shopping the next day?? All I have to say to that person is GOD BLESS YOU !!!!! ROFL

I just had surgery on monday. They put it in while I was out and they took it out as I was waking up, I could feel it a little but it didn't hurt, you just know something funky is going on down there LOL.

Crystal, good luck with your challenges, I'll be rooting for you. You know it struck me funny when you said "bandster rules." I was talking to my doctor this morning and some of the nurses that were banded. They all gathered around this newbies bedside to tell me what to do and what not to do. Do you know that they all said to eat 5 small meals a day rather than 3. Even my doc was nodding his head. I'm really glad your going to try this, I think its going to help alot, especially making healthy choices. ***CROSSING FINGERS FOR YOU*** Eileen

Oh Margo, I'm sorry to hear you had to go off of prozac. My sister is the same as you with the symptoms. HUGS!!!! I have been on a few thru the years. Prozac, Wellbutrin are the ones I liked. Zoloft made me have really nasty thoughts, I would not recommend that to anyone. There are so many on the market, is your doctor willing to give some others a try? Everyone is different so the only thing I can say is try them. Good luck lady !!! HUGS

Oh, its so nice to be home and to see you all. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. I love you all !!! I wrote all about my venture on the general board....Thank you Betty !!!!! Lisa, I can't believe I did it too. Now that I am home I can say that I can't wait to shed these pounds, but yesterday I must have said to myself 1000 times that I was NUTS!!! what was I doing to myself. Did it hurt....... YES !!! I wouldn't lie, it hurt like heck. They gave me 5 shots of morphine while I was in recovery and 3 more when I got into my room, from 9:30 - 12 midnight. On the ride home I was in so much pain but now I'm feeling much better. I have percocet ground up in a cap full of white grape juice...so I'm 10000 x better than 1 hour ago. I CAN DO THIS !!!!!! HUGS !!!!

Aww thanks for the thread Betty and thanks everyone. I'm Glad its over.... phheeeeeeew. I just got home about 1/2 hr ago. All I can say is I am in sooo much pain. You's all weren't kidding when you said it hurt, especially the gas they put inside. Its like some one took a bat and hit me in the chest. I'm drinking a cocktail of crushed percocet and white grape juice in a medicine cup LOLOL. My surgery started at 5, doctor was running OT. They couldn't find a vein b/c I was so dehydrated from not drinking anything the night before. Got in my room about 9:30, beautiful room, with a pretty view of the new york skyline. Now the fun begins..... I had a sweet but stupid nurse. I had an IV bag that did not work from 10 pm to 5 am and in all that time no one checked. Me I was in and out of la la land. Then they say get up to pee, you have to do this (at 5 am) I told them how I was dizzy and was going to hurl. So we waited. I got in the bathroom, let niagra falls go, and ran back to bed almost killing myself b/c I could feel I was going to pass out or puke. So they gave me an injection for the puking feeling. I was feeling better by 10 am. The doctor came in and suggested I might want to stay another day. I was like NOT!!!! so he let me go home. I gotta say, I feel like I can drink with ease but I'm taking it slow for fear of hurting myself. The hospital made some really good broth, my DH ate it after I took a sip LOLOL. Thanks everyone for the ecards, and well wishes here. Your all the best, I really do mean it. I LOVE YOU ALL !!!!

Pamela, I'm going to be banded today but I' have had 2 other stomach area surgeries in the past. If you can, take some pillows and put them under your stomach so when your laying on your side or partial side, your tummy isn't stretching/pulling down onto the bed.... another words prop your belly up. Thats what I remember doing. Hope it helps. FEEL BETTER !!

Kelly, I understand how you feel about the snake but there's got to be some sort of symbol on the ID bracelet that the EMT people can recognize that its an emergency bracelet and not just a fancy piece of jewerly. Let me know if you find anything, I'll look too.

Good Morning Pat & Betty, my DH is going to take some pictures today, right before we leave. I never thought of taking measurements...good idea. Now to find the darn tape measure. Will a craftsman due LOL Lisa thanks, I can't believe it too. Last night all I did was cry when I layed down with my DD to put her to sleep. Thank God she didn't see me or realize what I was doing. We all have stuffy noses here so a few snorts didn't make her wonder LOL. Needless to say I have the hershey squirts this morning and I'm not allowed any water all day. Surgery's at 4. I doubt I'll make it... I forsee a few ice chips making their way into my mouth LOL. I'm THURSTY!! I did alot of cooking last night for the family and inlaws this week. Made a nice pot roast in gravy, some fried boneless ckn breast, ckn parm, and noodles. That aught to hold em for a week. For breakfast I had a roll with 2 eggs on it and my wonderful graham cracker coffee mmmmmmm. Lunch was a few handfuls of M&M's, plain b/c they didn't have pnuts....drats. Dinner we went to Charlie Browns Steakhouse. I had a big bad ass salad, with all the bad stuff on it, egg, bacon, blue cheese dressing mmmmmm mmmm oh, and I shared deep fried ckn spring rolls appetizers. I split desert with my DH and DD which was fine, I normally never get desert b/c I'm always stuffed. If I don't get to talk to you later, which probably I will b/c I'll have a few hours to blow. I'll see you all on Tuesday !!! Thanks for EVERYTHING !!! LOVE YOU !!!
