  1. I used to LOVE chocolate anything pre-surgery. I have some chocolate icing in my kitchen right now for my hubby's cake. But, I did not open it. I keep protein bars handy for snacks time and frozen yogurt almonds in the freezer for the T.O.M. cravings. But I am amazed that the chocolate monster in me is tamed, for now. But I noticed that almost 4 months out, my sweet tooth finally kicked in.

Time flies! It has been a month already! Wow, and you can really tell the difference too. Keep up the good work lady. You are doing awesome. Later Loser!
  3. Awesome success Grammy. I enjoy reading your posts. I am truly happy for you and others as well that are on this wonderful journey. Later Losers!
  4. Hello all! The recipes you guys are posting look delish. I wanted to try the cauliflower pizza crust that I keep reading about. So, I found a recipe on Pinterest and decided to try it. So, I made like 4 mini turkey pepperoni cauliflower crust pizzas. I am having tummy issues today so I doubt I will be able to eat one. Here it goes. Later Losers!
  5. That sausage looks good. Gamergirl, were you able to eat the whole sausage?
  6. Welcome to the container club. I have my own section in the fridge with leftovers and homemade sauces. I have two fudge pops that have been in the freezer for three weeks. That was impossible pre op. I received my sugar free pecan sandies today and I immediately placed those in the freezer too,SMH. My hubby says that I hoard food now.

August post op sleevers: Check in

Yep, I actually took in my workout pants.Still wearing my dresses which causes me to trip often. Even my skirts are too long. It's amazing how you seem to get shorter when you lose weight but it's just the lack of fat in some areas.
  9. I used to polish off a 20 piece of nuggets by the time I got home from work. Didn't even get a chance to enjoy it,taste it. Just swallowed. I loved Whoppers and 3 big burritos with all the toppings.

Awesomeness Galaxy Girl and VSGAnn! I am officially 3months too but I do not see my surgeon until February. I will see my Pcp on the 7th so I can see my weight.
  11. You are still fresh out of surgery and still healing. It could be gas. I know I feel that way when I have gas. It feels like your gut is about to explode. Perhaps some walking will help you

Does anyone else get tired of eating sometimes? With me eating like every two hours, sometimes I get tired of eating. I am starting to cut down on my serving size because of it.I need that protein. That's why I make sure I have my shakes.

I know right.Freebird is on fire! Great job!
  16. We all food issues here. It is definitely okay to be nervous. Even after the surgery certain foods are still hard for me. This is a great place for support and I am sure you would have gotten some good advise if the post was true. I hope all goes well with your surgery and that you will have tremendous success.

I Have No Motivation That Pushes Me

What a good playlist Miss Mac.
  18. My hubby brought home a lamb leg. I trimmed the fat. I always put a bunch of slits throughout the leg and stuff it with fresh garlic. I also seasoned it with a Mediterranean season mix, salt and fresh oregano. I wrapped the whole leg with lots of foil and baked it on 350 for like 3 hours. I heart me some lamb. That was the only food that I was missing in my early post op stages.
  19. Diarrhea is common in the beginning. Once you start moving up in the stages, you will most likely be back on here talking about constipation. I had the case of rrhea once I started drinking more shakes.
  20. And I definitely remember the hair back in the days, lol.
  21. Determination is awesome. You got it too.
  22. I changed my meal plan. After cooking a roasted leg of lamb for the family, I decided to have that instead of the Tandoori chicken. Here's the picture. I had roasted lamb and cabbage. Didn't finish the cabbage.
  23. What a terrible feeling, I know. Like others suggested, relax it will eventually pass.
