love the pedi. it's my luxury of the month, plus i'm VERY hard on my feet. either running or walking around EVERYWHERE barefoot, my shoe of choice when not tennis shoes is flip flops & being in TX - i wear them yr round.
-
both,:tongue2: i'd start journaling & measuring your food @ each meal. i find if i'm not eating at home & can measure, i will eat more. i use my measuring cups as my serving spoons & use a salad plate most times. once you get restriction this will be a LOT easier & you definitely won't be able to eat that much bread:tongue: good luck to you!!!!

i love my dogs, all 7 of them with a lab litter on the way. hubby and i can't have kids - so we have fur babies. :crying: we even built a kennel on the property , heating / air condit & a flat screen w/scooby doo on all day..LOL i have 2 old tiny ones (poodle/chi) that stay in the farm house w/me all the time, the other 5 roam about the ranch / pool & ponds - Sometimes they come in house ... sometimes they're out in the kennel - depends on how muddy they are. i want to come back as one of my dogs in the afterlife...LOL:rolleyes: today - 10min bike warm up 60min trainer session - all lower body: squats/lunges/hamstring/butt busters/abs/ladder drills 30min treadmill - 10min running...UGH, leslie, i think that aerobics instructor has a brother (my trainer) ... his an ex marine:scared2:

good for you!, how do you feel?? there is a woman who's at my 24hrFit that is 8.5 months pregnant and she i think doesn't miss a day. she looks ready to pop ; but she boogies along on the treadmill everytime i see her.:crying:

[quote name=A lot less;1008763No' date=' Luluc, You are not alone. It took me 8 fills also. I think I'm okay now but, I'm beginning to want more to eat. If I'm doing cardio and strentgh training, do you think I need to up my protein intake? I noticed that you mention on a post that you drink a protein drink before (or after, I forget) going to the gym. By the way, how did you like the target potstickers? I'm going to try Blooz's meatballs and TrueDiva's "muffins this weekend.[/quote] i've had to have 2 unfills & might go for a third so i can eat more (currently at 7.2ccs). my trainer puts me through the ringer, and i've added a protein drink before our workouts to have extra "umph". i'm just not getting enough calories, i think. just when i think i'm at restriction - i get tighter.:crying: the target potstickers are pretty good, i'll keep them in stock.
-
vent away - i might have been odd man out, but i had to have 8 fills (8.5ccs) before i got restriction.....it was a LONG wait, so i understand!! yesterday - b- slice cin/raisin toast w/butter & skinny latte l- 4 chicken potstickers s- 1.5oz smoked gouda w/handful of wheat thins d- 1c chicken chilli (loved it thanks for the recp)

send him to Dallas - stat!!!! that was pretty damn funny a lot!!!
-
some of my staples: FF refried beans hummus fresh & frozen veggies edamame greek yogurt cheese - any kind raw nuts ostrich jerkee frozen fish/shrimp chicken - always for salad or as a meal brown rice peanut butter bananas / fresh fruit whole grain bread/pasta
-
i don't get "full" on a salad - typically it's my "veggie" in a meal, not the meal itself. when my meal IS a salad i make sure there is some chicken/chick peas - other protein involved or a taco salad, otherwise - i'm looking for a snack when i really don't need one. i sorta treat salads as soup - LOVE them, but i realize they might not sustain me like other meals..
-
leslie - jump IN!! i love the exercise challenges - cause ceradad is a bad A$$...LOL. also cause i DON'T love running. i do it & will continue to run wkly - but it is not my passion. i like to mix the cardio up - and i have been focusing a bunch on running & i just don't want to some days....(lately) i know i can run the 5k, have done it - but i've yet to get the "high". it's all forced - nothing loving about it:tongue:. my trainer has me doing circles most sessions - and i love the mix up of exercise or competitve sports .... running makes this ADD person get crazed sometimes....LOL ebony - my male dogs (and i just fixed them!!!) haven't met a tree/bush/mailbox or car tire that didn't need a sprinkle:redface:
-
hey ebony - wed is typically my day off too!! but no matter what i manage a little something in....took my 2 of my labs for a walk (45min)....it was SLOW going as every mail box had to get a special "gift"" (male dogs of course)...LOL
-
never been to the black hills; your right - they are giving them away & i really want a pair - because our coyotte situation is getting worse. i was just wondering if i can put them in the same pasture as the longhorns & horse or do i keep them separate.....any jack ass experts chime in>>>LOL also posting - LJM, did your work end? how's the band baby??
-
thank you kcmagu!!! i love salmon (all ways) but hubby does not care for it cooked...i just bought some lox this AM.....appreciate your post!!
-
tap that is awful!!!, i'm dealing w/ins adjusters myself after my contractor broke a water main during our remodel last wk. never realized what damage water can actually do:frown: yeah i'm a big morning person - didn't use to be till i stopped working, and we bought this ranch. now i'm up before the roosters....:rolleyes2:
-
congrats!!!!!!
-
i can find tahinin in the Kosher or middle eastern section of the grocery store. i have made hummus w/out it; i just prefer the taste of the sesame. yesterday - b- blueberry kashi waffle w/tsp Peanut Butter & half banana l- 2 veggie spring rolls d- 4 parm meatballs -Yum s- 2oz blueberry greek yogurt w/fresh strawberries & granola
-
i think an unfill will do wonders for you. i'm struggling with getting another unfill myself - just seems like my fills kick in after 3/4 months and i get a bit tighter...plus i like to eat my hot food hot..LOL
-
i eat breakfast w/in a half hr of leaving for the gym - or if not working out it's around 8ish. i eat a snack or 2 a day - depending on hunger. some days more , some days less - don't really set a rule on that & my dr recommends 2 snacks a day for those reasonably active. me, i think you have to play around w/your calories to find the amt that will work for you to lose weight - anything under 1000 calories halted my loss. good luck to you !!!!
-
he IS that bad, wont' go have a fill w/out me - hates needles. and if a cold arises - well call out the national guard. me i like to be ALONE when sick or recovering.....he'd prefer i hold his hand...
-
i would have preferred to stay overnight, but not for obvious reasons. i was banded the same day as my husband, and of course his pain was MUCH more worse than mine. i would have preferred a quiet room w/out a big baby moaning all night:wink::confused: my dr. does the lapband as day surgery - as self pay, as i was - i would have paid an extra amt for down time 24hrs afterwards.
-
i would guess too tight - like when my shoe laces are too tight, my feet get a numb...????
-
congrats kathy on the nsv! & all those running!! i currently have cement in my running shoes - legs just won't budge; did work out w/trainer this AM for 90mins - all weight training. will try again in the am....
