Hi Alyce and congrats on your upcoming surgery! I was sleeved 6/24/14 and have never felt better. I was able to work from home after 1 week with the agreement that I needed to walk and if needed, rest. I must admit that some things I did that first week were a little foggy and I wasn't quite up to speed. It also was a holiday week so I only worked 3 days. I went back to the office after 2 weeks and was much better. If possible, I would suggest 2 weeks but if not be sure to walk and drink your fluids as much as possible. Best to you.

Help! I'm posting but I must be doing something wrong because they are not showing up... I am have sleeve surgery on august 27. My name is Alyce... I'm scared to death and excited. I have not seen too much on going back to work. I am planning on going back after a week ... I know it's different for everyone but could I get done feedback about when people when back to work.

Good afternoon.... My sleeve surgery is on August 27 and I am quite nervous and excited. Here is my question ... My surgery will be on a Wednesday . I am a teacher ... Was wondering what I will feel like in a week and do you think I can go back to work. I know everyone is different but I just wanted an idea when some of you went back to work.
