  9. I was sleeved on Monday 8/11. Was home by Wednesday 8/13. So far so good. Slept a full 8hrs yesterday it was amazingggg. But how did i end up at a fam BBQ today. I could not stand being in my house for another hour. I said I would but I did, everyone ate around me I was fine, I just slowly sipped on my Water. I got in 56oz of liquids including 85g of Protein. I'm not bored with liquids yet, I bought these cute ass 4oz mason jars to help me prep my liquids through out the day. I can't wait for my follow up next wk, I would really like to go to the next stage. I'm not hungry really but I do wanna chew. Sigh Other than that I still feel some soreness and gassy. Most of my pain happens when I'm up and out too much, I prolly should rest more ???? Good luck to everyone with everything xo

  17. OMG I totally know what you mean about the wanting to eat. I'm not really hungry but I just want to chew. Can't wait until next week when I can chew on some eggs maybe some hummus. I was sleeved on the 11th as well. Finally home, I practically had to escape lol. Been walking around a lot and it does help. Even went to walk in Target. Took pain meds at like 7am, 6pm and gonna take once more to sleep. Gas is definitely moving, the more I walk, still feel a lil swollen though. My family thinks I'm overdoing it but shouldn't I be moving? Yay us!

  21. I had the worst time trying to pee in a bedpan as soon as my surgery was over. I swear I tried for like 4-5hrs. As soon as they unplugged me so I could leave recovery and go up to a room I went into a bathroom and it was sweet relief. Finally on liquids today. Onto the 3oz part of the 4x4. Should be leaving tmrw AM. Pain is at a 2-3, 4 at the worst. I had nausea only once. I've been walking to try to get this gas bubbly feeling out. They have me orange Jello 3x it's the worst flavor ever, that made me feel queasy. I told my parents to bring me another flavor. And I keep falling asleep and they keep taking my broth and tea lol. I've been drinking mostly Water it's fine. Incisions don't look too bad, one was more swollen than the rest but my surgeon said it's bc that's where they stitched into muscle. So far so good. Hope everyone else has a smooth surgery and recovery. Xo
  22. Good luck! I'm just pulling up to the hospital myself. I think just because it's actual surgery is the fact that people (myself included) get nervous or a little worried. God willing all will go smoothly and may we all have speedy recovers and transitions into our new lives Xo
  23. I did a whole revamp of my lifestyle since October. I've been able to lose 38lbs. I wasn't required to but I knew I needed to cut the shit out. I'm looking forward to this part of my journey! My surgery is also tmrw at 730am! Good luck :-)
  24. I'm Aug 11th! I just started my pre-op liquid diet today. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be mostly because I kept busy. So tmrw I'm determined to stay as busy as I can and just sip on my liquids. Excited, nervous, scared but mostly ready! Good luck to all ????
