1. Hello

I also suffer from fibromyalgia and arthritis, the pain has been on and off but nothing too terrible, thank God I have not had one of those horrible flare ups when even mi hair and finger hurt. Still a lot of soreness and stiffness but I am able to do 2 hours of exercise at least 5 days a week, and for that I am greatly thankful. I'm losing rather slow and that is very frustrating. For the days when the pain is in I take Tylenol (500) or Tramadol, depending on how bad it is. And I take over the counter sleep aid. Overall I feel that I can move a little bit more each day. And I can wait to lose more to see how much more I can do.

  2. I am so frustrated, I had the sleeve too, first month I lose 12 pounds, not great but not too bad either... Second month 5 lbs only!!! I have been working out 5-6 times per week, both cardio and weights. Eating at least 100 gr of Protein while trying to keep carbs to less than 25 gr. calories to less than 900 per day (more around like 650-750) drinking at least 70oz of Water and all that for 5 lbs!!! ????

    So frustrating!!!

  3. Hello

I have been following up and reading as many threads as I can but somehow I can't figure out how to get the Protein in or how to calculate how much I am taking in. I was sleeved last Thursday( 8/21 I understand I cannot drink more than 4 oz of Water or broth at a time. The unflavored protein that I got is 27 gr of protein but the measuring spoon is too big to dissolve in any 4 oz of liquid. I did purchase a couple bottles of Isopure, could that substitute the water? Is 40gr of protein per bottle.

Thank you so much for reading, any input is GREATLY APPRECIATED.

  4. I have just told a very selected handful of people who are very close to me because I know I will need their support. At work I told my boss and I specifically asked not to share the details with the rest of the team, he just ask me to just tell them that I was going to be our for medical reasons, this way he will not get bombarded with questions...and I agree with that.

Well the last couple of weeks I have been doing my liquid diet and I find out on Friday that after I told the team that I was going to be out, two of my coworkers that do not have a life... Starting googling what kind of procedure I was going to have because I was drinking shakes... Needles to say that I was furious....

But I guess their lives are so empty that they need to make sure to be in everyone's else business.

  5.
I start my two week pre-op liquid today! Believe it or not, I'm excited about the liquid diet! I'm anxious for change. August 21, hurry up!!! Any other sleevers scheduled for the 21st want to buddy up?

Hi I'm starting my liquid diet today too... The 21 is my surgery date.
