Not to much. I spend an hour 3 times a week and not at all at the time of the month. But I am constantly running around with different errands and keeping the kids active.

Chew food at 11 days? I can not imagine how you are handling that. Well actually it sounds like not well. My advice is call your team and make sure you are understanding your plan correctly. Until you get a response from them go back to just liquids.

Checking in.. I started the process at 248 and by the day of surgery I was 226, home from hospital at 230. Today I am 193 lbs!! I could not be more thrilled. I am tolerating everything but bread. That feels like play dough but it's okay. I shouldn't be eating it at 2.5 months out anyway. I was given clearance from my team to progress to regular food at 7 weeks because I was doing so well. I am continuing to do well and rocking it at the gym. Here is a picture I made when I hit Onederland. I hope everyone else is doing well!!

Sorry for the delay in response. I did not see any more comments until now when I went to check back in. Odd. But I did not have an endo so I cannot comment on that. Hopefully U have an answer by now

Body fortress is actually being sued for padding their Protein numbers. So I wouldn't use them at all.

I went by what was on my surgeons list of acceptable Protein and chose Premier Protein. It has 30g for 160 calories, 5 carbs and only 1 sugar. I get them in bulk at costco.

I could have written this word for word soon after my surgery! Glad to know I'm not alone. My pain lasted 2 weeks but I had lingering soreness when going to stand or sit for another 2 weeks. Now at almost 7 weeks it's just a memory. 100% back to normal!

At 3 days out I definitely was not hungry. I didn't even have head hunger. I was still in pain and not interested in anything at all. I am one who had to force Water and Protein. Now a little over a month out and I am just now starting to feel empty and only really after the gym. But I will say that if I am late on my PPI then I can have a sensation that could be mistaken for hunger. Are U taking a PPI? If so I would then I would think you are thirsty and head hunger.

I cut everything out of my diet, soda, carbs, sugar and then because I was maintaining, I ate healthy foods in my calorie range. It was hard but I learned what added to Water weight and how to cut back at TTOTM if I had to be weighed in.

May 26th was my surgery date also!

It feels slow but I'm losing so....

It's very hard. I had a similar situation. My practice drops anyone who gains even a pound out of the surgical side and back down to the weight management sector of the program. That means starting all over. But with me (at the time) not having any comorbitities (I was later diagnosed with sleep apnea the last 3 months of my 9 month program) I could NOT LOSE even a pound either or I wouldn't qualify via insurance. So for 6 months I had to stay at exactly the same weight. It was a nightmare. But I did it. And you will too! Today I am a day shy of 3 weeks post op. good luck! U got this!

I don't think it's shingles if you don't have any blisters on the rash? It looks a lot like my eczema. I'm sorry you're going through this. I know how much rashes suck all too well.

I have no experience in blood pressure medicine so I don't know what crushing it will do. If your asking that. But I THINK your asking size correct? If so, I had my surgery on May 26th. I take 2 colace pills and a PPI for acid every day. These are all the size of about a regular strength Tylenol. I have no problem with feeling them stuck or anything. Hope that helps.

So surgery all done and I'm in my room. More painful than I thought it was going to be. On morphine and still very achy. Also nauseous so on some meds for that. But I'm trucking through and have already done 3 laps around my wing. How is everyone else?

I can only have Protein Shakes, half cup of fruit and half cup of veggie a day on my 2 week diet. Then the day before Clear Liquids and citrate of magnesia. The hospital will send me home with a short supply of Protein Shakes and I'll buy little by little once home and see what I tolerate.

I'm sorry about your snag
22 lbs?! That's awesome!

Yes! The pre-op diet is so hard! But I have stuck to it 100%. I have been telling my self anything worth anything is not easy and that has been helping.

In 5 days I will be having surgery and I just started to get really nervous. I have been mad that this has been so hard to jump through all the hoops and excited it was finally happening but never nervous. Now today when I think about it I get really scared and have I distract myself so I don't go into full freak out mode. I don't understand why I am feeing this way. I have fought so hard to get here. I have done many hours of research and 3 different sessions with my surgeon talking about everything. I want and need this. But I'm so nervous. I have never had any surgery besides 2 c-sections so maybe that's it. I don't know, but I'm not going to back out.

Oh wow! Hope! I'm happy your are better

Thanks! I haven't had it yet but am scheduled for next month. That is a lot of good advice! My reaction is fast heart beat, labored breathing, but I don't go full out, dizziness and hives. You have both of my issues so much worse then me. I'm sorry. I know how much of a pain this is. But I will definitely try what you suggested.

I am posting this here because my dermatologist says my eczema is "obesity induced" as I only developed it after my daughter was born and I was at my highest weight ever. I can't find much helping her theory except a short article on Medscape.
http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/750765_11
But maybe she is correct and others have herd this and am suffering the same thing. Nothing seams to really help me. I have tried over the counter as well as prescription creams, lotions and steroids. EVERYTHING. So finally she suggested I try A&D ointment. I had been avoiding it because I am allergic to shellfish and seafood. It had an inactive ingredient of cod liver oil. She says that it is in such a small dose and the oil undergoes filtration, purification and deodorisation steps to take out impurities, heavy metals and almost all the Protein which is what causes the reaction. Anyone allergic to the sea that uses this stuff? I would really like to hear from someone who is actually using it and not a theory because nothing else is working. And does anyone think this will magically go away when I start loosing weight after my surgery? I don't feel it will.

@@shellyd88 I am not a young girl nor single. I retired the miss title a long time ago but thank you for caring enough to repeat the general consensus on the thread. It's ok that you chose to focus on only the negative rather than my acknowledgement that I need to work on it. And even with your obvious anger and judgment of me I WILL say that I am sorry to have invoked such a passionate response from you. I would edit my original post so I don't offend anyone else, however leaving it may be able to help someone else get through what they are feeling. And I would like to do that. So I am not going to respond to any further comment and just let it be.

I felt the same way as you pre-op.
I feel the same way now.
Best wishes to you.
Thank you for the best wishes. I wish you the very best also.
