Contacted my doctor today who performed my gastric bypass, he is sending me to a Psychiatrist that i had seen before surgery for the pre surgical stuff, so maybe he can help with what ever is going on because i can find no reason in myself for me to be depressed.
so i hope to go next week and i have support group next Thursday so maybe ill bring it up and see who else has gone threw this i have met 1 lady who did but haven't had the chance to sit and talk with her .

So I'm two months post op and over the last 5 weeks my energy level has dropped I have no desire to do anything. I'm sleeping a lot and just hang in front of TV for most of the day. No weird thoughts or anything just feel blah and unmotivated.

most of their stuff is high in sugar im on a 3 gram rule but they look good
-
all the nuts ive looked at in the store seem to be high in Protein but also high in carbs, will be interesting to see replies to this post

Premier Protein is the best i have had 30 grams Protein per 11 ounce shake, they are really priced well at BJ'S & Sams Club

in support group the other night i heard people saying they had a hard time getting liquids in , one girl said she drinks about 4 ounces then has to wait 30 minutes to an hour to drink another 4 ounces. i also thought something was wrong since i was able to drink so much but they said it was a good thing just slow it down.

has been my main issue since my surgery august 14th i take a dose of miralax everyday but hasn't really changed anything

My surgery was August 5th 2014 and i have had an energy issue as well, doctor said yesterday thats fine just move around a lot. i did start walking the day of surgery and walked for the next 2 weeks but after walking i felt drained like i had done a full day of yard work or something. i also hope things become normal but not yet

i only use scales when i see a doctor my surgeon told me not to get hung up on the scales which i had begun to do my first 2 weeks and since then i put them in the garage. so i will weigh again September 11th at group meeting then again September 28 at doctor visit.

i was drinking a lot right out of surgery i haven't had one issue with the liquids, i drink 4 or 5 bottles of 16.9 oz deer park Water as well as 4 cups Decaf coffee at 16 oz each and 2 11 oz Protein shakes a day. doctor said slow it down 48 to 64 is all i need.
but starting this today i find it hard to do i just keep on drinking, doctor did say he has patients who have a very hard time getting any Water or fluids down.

2 months before my surgery August 5th i was researching the future on what to eat and recipes i still search daily for new ideas for that time when it arrives i can eat some what normal. i think that even helped me since every thing i do every day is for the future and down the road, it did take me 2 weeks to wrap my head around what i was about to do but the end decision was easy something has to happen.

Hello everyone, or anyone...I have had my gastric bypass just a little over a year ago and lost 105 lbs. I'm scared to try to lose more because of the skin hanging all over my body...you can exercise only so much to tone it up. I'm having a meeting with my primary doctor to have him check me out and see if he can recommend the excess skin needs to be taken off due to "medical reasons". I have to have that for my insurance to "possibly" cover it. I hate my body now. Yes, I expected the weight loss, however, I did not consider all this hanging skin. Now it's depressing me and I feel miserable.
and by the way you look great !!!!!
Bodies Chemical Changes

So if anyone knows exactly which body chemicals change during the post op process, my doctor had said usually your bodies chemicals change and balance out in about 3 weeks and some people it takes longer.
But i have been unable to find any thing concerning these changes, i know one chemical change causes the hair loss in some and thinning of hair in others..etc....
