Hair loss hasn't been noticeable after the haircut so win! I'm usually around 700 calories but I do beach body programs as well. I was ordered to hit around 65-70 grams of Protein and 1000-1200 cals a day. We will see what happens. My workout regime is prob the reason for increase but I'll adapt to keep it up ❤️ I wanted to wait on the lift/reduction as well...my bariatric dr would like me to wait but considering my massive breakdown of skin from working out its going to get done early. Under my right breast I've had staph infections twice and bleeding from the sweating and hanging of skin. Tmi I know but I think everyone should look out for these issues. And to answer your question no. I am not getting any kind of implant. They are using my own tissue and molding it to create upper pole fullness. Implants are usually suggested if you want youthful fullness and be able to go bra free. A lift is sufficient as long as you are good relying on a push up bra ???? I didn't want foreign objects either.

I'm not sure if I qualify as a success story yet but I do believe I experienced a life changing event. It took me years to pull the trigger on surgery. I've gained weighed steadily over the last 10 years despite doing what doctors had advised me to do. A myriad of reasons and overall giving up led me to where I was. Oct 7th I weighed in at 248lbs. As a 5'2 woman I was a size 20 comfortably. I realize now how in denial I was over where I had got too. Do you have that one picture that made you cry? I do. I never took any pics until my husband and I celebrated 10 yrs of marriage in Puerto Rico. This before picture was what made me get surgery a month later. The now pic is from today after playing in the snow with my girls. I'm not even at goal and unbelievably happy. Just thought I'd post the pics bc they were my motivation from others.

I ran my first chip timed 5k this weekend, I didn't think I could actually run the whole time but I did!! 34:08 :-)
I had been struggling with how to transition from the mindset of weight loss to the fact I am at goal and don't need to loose more......fitness goals are helping, and my fun Fitbit

Hey all! It looks like I have a ton of reading to do! I missed checking in but I spent the last few weeks virtually technology free traveling Germany and Paris. It was amazing to disconnect outside of talking with my kids. You don't realize how being busy affects your success until you actually relax. I'm happy everyone is moving forward. I'm pretty content with where I'm at. Started at 248 - currently 159. I'm sitting comfortably in a 10/12 but can fit into a 8! Amazing! I think I have some more to go but if I don't get there I'm happy still. I can't believe I was so heavy for so long. Hiking was amazing in the Alps and I actually could do it without dying! Best part is I got used to walking everywhere and completing 10-20 miles per day that it's nothing to complete my exercise goals back at home. Thought I'd post some progress photos too. Looking forward to catching up ❤

Hey friends! Back from Hawaii! We got back Tuesday actually. Thank goodness only 3 days of work this week! I'm still in vacation mode and we missed a night of sleep the day (night) we flew back, so I seem to be having a hard time catching up on that! I got way off schedule with my meds too, so that probably didn't help!
Anyway---we of course had an amazing time! The time we spend with just our 2 oldest sons was great. Love that we are able to do this with our kids. For those that don't know, when our kids graduate, we let them pick a trip they want to go on. When our oldest daughters graduated they picked Hawaii too. My Aunt has a home there she rents out when she's not there, so we are able to stay there pretty cheap. :-)
SO!!! I not only hit my original goal of 160 (actually got to 158) on vacation, BUT.....I got engaged!! On the beach, at sunset....it was absolutely perfect.
I'll see if I can figure out how to add a picture on here, LOL...I might need to do it from my phone instead.

I feel so good took this pic yesterday 6/10/15. I am 33 pounds away from my goal weight. I have slowed down on losing but I am not giving up. My eye is on the prize 165 pounds. :-)
