    Psych Eval

Still trying to locate someone for my psych evaluation that is covered by insurance, called one place, $500.00 WOW!
  2. Great thanks! I have time just curious... Trying to lose a little weight before my October vacation and a little before surgery, which I'm sure won't be till after my vacation -- I was hoping for this month but might be better off just holding off so i can fly and not have any issues while away.
  3. ... has anyone used IsaGenix instead of the other shakes for their proteins, etc.?
  4. Great. Thanks. How do you feel? Congrats!!!! Sleeve? By? Łb?
  5. ✌️ yes. I have trader joes. Anything you can suggest? Have you done some research you can share?
  6. Thanks Lucrezia Yes, we will manage... But what about after - 2 weeks is nothing like you said, but I understand it to be about 3-4 weeks of it after surgery. I, too, am hoping for a September date, few tests this week should give me the go ahead to get insurance approval. We should become buddies
  7. Also... How worried was everyone prior to surgery.
  8. Thanks all I think I might order some unjury to have on hand in the house. I'm looking for the best tasting LOL I'm sure it's hard, everyone is different, but Unjury seems to be a winner by lots of people. How does everyone do on the liquid diet - did you find it hard?? I'm very worried about it .... 2 weeks prior and a month after... I get very bored fast.
  9. Too many choices :-)) I was told from my nutritionist abt 2-3 different manufacturers and to read the labels well. What have you all used for your liquid diet ? chicken broth? I going to be lost.
  10. Hmm. I've never heard of these poducts ...

Nope, i haven't been using their 'in house staff'. My pulmonary test can be done by my PCP i was told. I'm just worried about my insurance, not all these tests and doctors. Don't want to get my hopes up and they deny me. I did gain 1 lb since last month - monthly friend - and the surgeon was like, they want to see you lose weight! DUH! i know! LOL

Surgeon gave me a list of psych's, called 2 - one called me back - said we don't take insurance - it's $375.00 for 2 hours. CRAZY!!! I have to call a few more and see what happens... I've seen my surgeon 3x, that's what my insurance requires, I'm done w/ that - waiting on endoscopy - have a appt Tuesday - hopefully schedule endo fast and then sleep study --- Need medical records from my PCP and I think I'm good to go - I'm hoping within the next month - I'm nervous too.. I haven't told many people I'm doing this ... 2 close friends. My hub and son know, daughter, 11, knows i'm having something, but doesn't know the particulars just yet. My Mom knows and is a very negative person... worried about surgery, worried about after care, worried about flabby skin if i lose the 125 I want to lose and will lose... she's always been negative, my entire life.... That's another story! LOL ) Wish you luck ---

Fellow LI'er here... Been going thru the pre-op requirements.... Need a few more tests, hopefully the insurance will approve me (GHI and Empire BCBS). I gained 1 lb since last month - doc said insurance frown upon that (female time of the month) so they better not say anything - 1 lb? ) Been seeing a nutritionist -- Hated my psych therapist - she won't send me a release, said I need to see her a few more times. Didn't think it was regular therapy - maybe it is As for the liquid diet - my nutritionist gave me a list of the liquid diet recommendations, which I've currently misplaced. Which shakes have you been using? Thanks! Good luck everyone!
