wow! I have a blockage in my intestines due to the surgery. I couldn't stop throwing up or having diahrea. I was so dehydrate it has been the worse now i have to stay in the hospital till it moves it way back. to its spot. what a terrible way to start thi new lifE! I hope you guys are doing better than me.[

omg had my surgery on thursday. I have been in so much pain! I hope to be feeling better quickly! I hate how terrible I feel.

went to my follow up appointment and my doctor says I lost 20 lbs in a week..I LOVE MY SLEEVE...all my walking is definitely paying off

Well I am having my surgery tomorrow! Wow! nerves taking me down. Trying to stay calm but its not easy!

@taylorj7 I feel pretty good. Just trying to get my fluids in and keep my protein up. I'm not in any pain..no nausea..thank you god. Honestly there is just a little discomfort on the right side of the stomach where my surgeon pulled the stomach out from but it's tolerable. I feel just about normal again. ..lol

so 3 days post op and I am doing and feeling 100% better. my fluid intake is great my pain is under control and I no longer have nausea. I am walking good and over all I just feel good

Well I am all set all preadmission stuff is done. Had last meeting with the doctor. All pretesting and boot camp for the big day! Yikes sept 25, is coming soo fast!

Hey guess what? I have been approved! Yea! However, I have also been told that I'd have to pay $635.00 before I can be scheduled. I feel a bit blindsided because I've always asked BCBSNC and they said noooo u won't have to pay anything. But, of course, I will pay it. They are saying it is my co insurance . Hmmmm, what do you guys think?

That's weird that your insurance would tell you that you wouldn't have to pay and they say you have to pay $635.00. How much is your insurance covering of your surgery? I also had to pay a co-insurance but my cost was $153.00. And I wasn't blind sided they told me right a way once I told them I was interested in the sleeve. I think it wouldn't be as bad if they would have told you from the beginning, but I hope everything everything goes smoothly for you

Monday is surgery have to be in at 6am im first on list i should have the RNY done by noon and on my road to loosingness

5 Day's Post-op: Thing's are getting a lot easier, I have no issue with getting my Water/Protein in and I've lost 14lbs

Surgery went well, Sent one night in the hospital. Home now in a little pain but it's getting better!

Received a call from the hospital today!!..check in time at 5:30am..surgery time at 7:30 am...last pre-op appointment with my surgeon tomorrow! !!!..

Well i can't believe it , got my approval letter from blue cross, blue shield yestereday!! It took less than a week for approval Sept 25, here I come! wonderful news, so happy!!!
