xicanaphd got a reaction from blondebomb in Feeling like a failure
Eating much softer foods today...pureed baby food and cottage cheese with a little soy milk to make it creamy. Much better! I found these fantastic organic baby foods called Plum Organics. They actually taste pretty good, have Protein and low carbs. I'm feeling better.
Cyber-abrazos (hugs) for all.

Thank you all so much!!! This was so encouraging and extremely helpful! I am definitely going to scale back to my liquid/super soft food stage. It did feel too fast, too soon for crackers and thicker foods.
This is a learning process and I appreciate the gentle reminder that we grow when we learn. I spent years not listening to my body and it got me up to 316 pounds. This amazing tool is teaching me something new....listen to what my new tummy is telling me. It's telling me to take it slow and BE PATIENT!!
Thank you all so much. Even though I've never met you, I know we all have this struggle in common.

Some advice from an older, wiser woman ...
Don't strive to be perfect. You aren't. You won't be. And if you think you're supposed to be, you will avoid learning anything new for fear of failing to be perfect the first time you attempt a new activity.
That's just not how we learn and expand our lives. Failing is part of growing and learning.
And with "phd" in your nickname, I know you love learning.
