You will live and be around food forever. The hardest part of this process is usually changing your mindset. food is not our enemy.

At almost two years post-op, I have leaned not to tell most people. This is due to often finding myself in the position of having to educate health professionals and others. When I am heading to the gym after work many of my coworkers are supportive. The only know that I am working on my health. I do not think I will ever tell them about my sleeve. To me it is like telling someone you have diabetes.

Do you have Anemia? After WLS due to this condition, I never had any energy, felt cold while living in Florida and became depressed plus other symptoms.

For me, I will only tell in my new town if it helps someone else. I workout. At work, they call me "The Workout Queen." I do not feel the need to talk about my WLS. My life my way! I am becoming healthier person. Life moving forward. I do not want the nasty remarks.

Welcome! This is a different type of heat here in Houston. I will say inside most of the weekend. However, in the morning I am going to the gym. You have lived here longer than me. I love this place and it is now home! Yes, it is huge. There is always something to do!I am in Houston. Still fairly new to this HUGE city. Been here just over 1 year. I still need to get use to the heat.

Houston is pretty cool. You can do almost anything and it is fun most days. I went for a long walk it was crazy being able to walk and not needing to stop due to my fatness. My life is good.

All my "fat" relatives are dead. I did not want to join them. I been sleeved almost two years. It is not easy. However, I have no regrets. Mentally, I have struggled to get use to being in this new body. I going to gym in a hour. I love my new life. This tool is gift.

All I can say is that my children hugged and jumped on me after surgery. I learned to grab a pillow and tell them to move. It should not be too bad. Just protect your body and enjoy your life!

QqqqqI have watched my sister any mother die due to uncontrolled health issues. Don't give up and work you program. Also, go take the darn test that you need. Living in denial is quick road to an early death. Take care of yourself!

After nothing happening for months I have started losing weight again. I workout several times a week. My golden number is 150 at 5"6' with a large frame. The hard thing is when I talk about losing 40 more pounds everyone acts like I am crazy. I generally don't talk about my surgery. I am just seen as a "health nut." I live in a new town. Some charts say I will be "over weight." I don’t care.

Guilt is a waste of emotions. I know because I was raised to feel guilty as a Roman Catholic. Lol Changing your behaviors requires, commitment and repeated new behaviors. Give yourself a break. Just don’t give up. Keep moving forward towards better health. Use the healthy map that works for your over all goals. If that means a little sugar every few months then who has the right to judge you. Work at being healthy you are worth it!

The only thing I want to say is please remember this surgery is just a tool. For lifetime changes it will take both psychological and behavioral changes that nobody can do but you. I wish someone had told me how much this process would change my life. I have no regrets. I am still learning. I wish everyone great health.

Please research B12. I have been reading. It some cases it is linked with breast cancer. Do for your body what is best. I have stopped receiving the injections. Your body your choice. Peace!
