I am relearning once again. I have a new sports medicine dietician/nutritionist for running endurance/performance. My calorie intake has been way to low for the amount of calories I burn. (causing significant hair loss at a year and a half out) Holy Crap! Calorie intake is now 2000. Protein goal 204g 30% Carbs 272g 40% Fat 91g. 30% Its 10:30pm I'm not at 2000 yet.

Okay, that makes more sense then. I did an experiment a couple of days ago to see how many calories I could get in in one day. I managed to get just below 3000, but I had to eat 10 separate times and I had to eat a ton of CRAP. I felt terrible after, so I don't think that's a good long term solution for me. I was trying to figure out how I could "load up" on calories the day before one of my long runs. But after eating all the crap, I felt terrible and definitely not up for a long run. So I am going to have to figure out something else.

Wow! I don't think I've ever hit 500 calories in one meal since I was sleeved. Much less three times a day! The closest I get is just over 400 calories eating 2 ounces of cheese and 1 ounce of peanuts for lunch sometimes. Are you just not allowed lean protein anymore? No way could I get a meal with some white meat chicken anywhere near 500 calories without getting way too full.

The headache is from going high protein/low carb. Your body is entering ketosis. The skittles were a mistake because ketosis takes 2-3 days to get into and once you go out of it, you have to start all over again. So you likely just condemned yourself to 2-3 MORE days of headaches as you reenter ketosis.

Saturday was my 11 month surgeversary. I'm now 3.8 pounds from goal and I've officially lost over 100 pounds from my all-time highest weight of 270.

With only 3.8 pounds to go now, it's hard to not want to lose that in like a week! But with the way I've been losing the past few months, it's likely to take closer to two full months to REALLY lose those 3.8 pounds. I seem to lose 3 pounds all at once, then bounce back up two pounds, then spend the next 2-3 weeks getting THOSE two pounds off again. So right now I've just had one of my "big loss" weeks, which means I expect some of that to come right back, then lose it again slowly over the next few weeks. Rinse. Repeat.

Got the news last night that my sister and her 4 young children will be moving in with us for a while. Really worried about sticking to my routine and staying on track with all the chaos over then next few days/weeks.
