  8. I went to him and had my lapband removed. Waiting for recovery and I plan to go in Feb. for my sleeve. I met up with two ladies who got the sleeve they are doing fantastic. I can honestly tell you that the care couldn't be better! From Susan to Rosie the driver they are all top notch. The dr is wonderful he didn't want to do the sleeve until I healed from the lapband removal. He wants the BEST for us! You won't be disappointed at all. Any questions he emails you back or calls. Check him out on YouTube. Best care I've ever had.

  12. Just gallbladder? I went back to work the next day.
  13. Aloud whisper, I think I know what your feeling. Some moments I'm so ready for the change but in the next breathe so unsure. I had a rough time with the band and I don't want to go through that. For me right this moment I want a new lease on life. I want to be able to move freely, walk with out pain, be healthy, fit in a chair and not feel horrible I can't control my portion size. I'm praying that everything will be worth the extreme amount of work for this tool to work. I need to get there in my head. There will always be fear even if you know " it's the best thing to do ." Best of luck and keep us posted .
  14. Did you pick a date? Everything I've read is peoe are happy happy happy with
  15. Pangie, now that the band is gone I'm not restricted and I can eat anything the first time I took a bit of a cheese burger I chewed and chewed for a long time. Swallowed and waited for my bodies "normal" reaction and it was an amazing feeling to not have one! My new normal is I can eat! No heart pounding, sweating, running to the bathroom As soon as I was banded I couldn't eat eggs my body just said no to them..fried, scrambled, poached... I tried it all but I can eat eggs again!!!! It a blessing now I need to get in check with my food:) sleeved march or May for me Good luck!
  16. Just watchme I hope it works out! It was a tough choice because I wanted it to "work" it just didn't for me. But there are many on here that love the band and have success, I hope you can be one of them!
  17. I went to Mexico for my band removal and will go for my sleeve in 6 months. The amazing doctor Guillermo Alvarez in Mexico. I recommend him. Amazing staff and the experience and care was fantastic. Susan who lives on Texas will be the connect person. Research but you won't find a better doctor. I can't wait to get sleeved. Very happy the doctor said he wouldn't sleeve because of the amount of scar tissue.
  18. Amazing is how you look thank you for the update it's inspiring!! Besides making good choices what has been an "ah- ha" moment?
  19. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to try them out. I wonder why there is one for women and men?
  20. Yes! I understood that feeling at one point! Keep it up isn't it amazing!?
