RM, this is a lot better than what it was. It was bright red. Even my nurse said I might get some blistering and pimple like spots. Thank goodness that never happened. Right now it's just a little bit itchy. I take benedryl every night and put benedryl cream. The doctors will see them Monday. -

Sooo laughing at Peek !!!!!!!!!! .. hospital ::: laughing::: It's not bruising, mine is a rash. An allergic reaction to the glue. I searched the boards and about every couple of months someone has an allergic reaction this this. Scary huh !!! One more pic ... Now y'all know me well enough.. so this should't surprise you. But I wore my bikini at my highest weight ever 300. I believe we are all beautiful people, and if others can't see it, well.. that is their problem. This was taken at my house, but I wore this bikini on Vacation in Biloxi .. and you know what... no one said a damn thing ! I felt great !!! -
I was not scared to wear a bikini at 300lbs . Im self confident then, and I still am !

wow ! I'm jealous of all y'alls incisions.. I just took a pic of mine. Don't gasp.. I told you it was an allergic reaction LOL. Peek - congrats on what your primary care said ! You'll heal up nicely And I will.. I'll ask my doctor monday how many calories I should be at. Im right between 400 to 600 cals. Okay.. so we all have that little voice in our head. The voice or reason. The one that we smack around and tell it to shut up? See, I knew you had one too So this morning I took it easy. Since taking benedryl for my incision rash, it makes me very sleepy even in the mornings. So I caught up on some stupid soaps, and rested. Finally the time is closing in on me and I really need to go drop off my pain med script. I could have easily gotten in the car, or even took the dog in the car to walgreens. But that voice said.. "Stop whining, and just do it, you'll be proud of yourself later". Usually at that point I smack the little B, but said okay, I"ll do it. And you know what... it was a hot, but nice walk, and it was right.. I feel good. So don't talk yourself out of things, just know we all do things that we don't necessarily want to do at first, but then we are happy we did it That's my story for now... after seeing some of my girlfriends tonight.. I might have more Here's a pic of how many minutes I walked, and my incisions. Again, don't scream or think I"m dying -

I also read on a lot of the boards that most of the time the pain goes away at 2 months. So don't worry, it will heal -

Another thought... I have been having left side pain. So I told my husband I should finally get the pain script of Tylenol 3s filled. I said "I'll take Cooper (my dog) and walk to walgreens tomorrow to fill it" .... it's about a 2 1/2 mile walk (round trip). I like I have that mind set !!! And TONIGHT ! Ooh Tonight ! I'm meeting up with some of my girlfriends I haven't seen in awhile. We are meeting at a bar and grill. And guess what.. I've looked at the Soups and I think I'll have a cup of the broth from the gumbo and drink some Water. I can enjoy an evening with the girls and make good choices. And yeah, I'm not going to lie, I really want the fish and chips.. but that day will come too -

Yup, I'm a daily weigher myself and I think I always will be. No matter how hard I try. I like knowing. I dropped 11 lbs in 5 days, then it slowly dropped, then went up 2 lbs and after no loss for two days, I'm back to losing a pound. But look at the average. I'm 10 days out and down 12lbs ... uhm.. yeah.. I like those results. It averages out nicely !!! So yeah, I was worried about the gain, but it could have been anything. I've been reading a lot of boards. Even the veterans boards. We don't have to do anything but eat our portions and what our doctor tells us and the weight will come off on its own time. Our bodies will understand what we want it to do. We will ALL stall, we will all fluctuate... but look how many people on these boards lose their weight. We got this !!! side note... I was a huge coffee drinker before ... I'm talking 3 to 4 24oz cups of coffee a day. I find it very comical that I don't want coffee anymore and that I don't like it as much as I used now. My go to thing in the morning is hot cocoa. Which my little cup of cocoa has 60 grams of Protein in it (Double milk and a packet of protein powder). I hope everyone has a great day and we just need to follow some rules till regular foods, then it's using our pouch to tell us not to over eat.. which is why we had this surgery. -

Karen, call your DR tomorrow and ask them please. It may be something simple, but it might be better to ask. -

RM, I just want to hug you!! None of us in this world are perfect. Use this board as your tool to make good choices as well. Now that's it's over, don't let the guilt beat you up. Live, Learn and move on. No looking back. we all care about each other so again.. big big hug Hey everyone, Today I'm a bit tired, and whiney. My left side is hurting. It's from where they pulled my stomach out. I think the swelling in my body is almost gone, so I'm feeling a bit more pain. Today I went and picked up tacos for a friend. He had foot surgery and missed his normal Taco Tuesday, so I brought it to him. They smelled good, but it's funny how I didn't want any. I watched him and his girlfriend eat them. I hope everyone is having a good day. Sorry I'm not super Rah Rah today. Just not feeling it -

For me, I just feel lighter on my feet. I can also sit and feel like it's getting smaller. But then again, maybe I'm a freak. Because when I gained 50lbs in 3 months, I could also feel the fat growing on me. It was soon gross. And I wasn't able to do anything about it. -
