Do you notice how much others eat?
I was just noticing tonight that my husband takes huge bites and doesn't even finish chewing one bite before he's biting off more... Of course, he's always been skinny...

Dizziness
I had a doc appt today and was told that it could be due to needing to drink more water or because my calorie intake is so low. I was told that if it keeps happening, to try upping my calorie intake a bit.

How to tell my 4 y.o. about surgery
I told my 7 yr old that I had to have something in my tummy fixed and that I was FINE and that we'd have to be careful for a while after. She asked what was wrong and I told her not to worry about it, that I'm fine. I showed her and my 3 yr old that I had owies and that they have to be gentle. That's pretty much been the end of it.

It looks to be non-carbonated.

Protein2O?
Anyone head of it? I just saw it at the gas station. Looks like flavored water. 15g protein, 2g carbs, 70 calories. There were 4 different flavors.

How long was your hospital stay?
I was two days. It really seems to vary quite a bit, depending on the surgeon.

Skinny People's Poop May Hold the Disgusting Key to Weight Loss
My surgeon is actually leading a clinical study on this. I signed up to participate but I was supposed to provide a stool sample one week pre-op, but I was at work, so the timing didn't work out. They did take some blood and a fat sample.

Have a really difficult time 4 days post op.
I was absolutely exhausted the first week, for sure. I definitely wasn't getting in as much Fluid as you, either. At just over two weeks, there have only been a couple of days that I've come home from work and haven't taken a nap. I also haven't been cleared for exercise, other than walking. But, never take advice on here over the advice of your surgeon. Don't be afraid to call or go to the ER if you feel as though something isn't right.

Day 10 post op QUESTIONS
I'm two weeks one day out and have been going up and down the same pound or two for almost a week. I know it's related to being bloated though.

GAINING weight first week post-op? What's happening?
I'm 14 days post-op and my scale has been bouncing up and down a bit, but I know that it's bloat due to my upcoming menstrual cycle. Just keep following the rules and hang in there. Your body is still in freak out mode.

What a difference a year makes...gobble, gobble.

Your Thanksgiving Dinner Game Plan
I made a turkey breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed carrots, stuffing, cranberries and pumpkin pie. I ate about 1.5 oz of turkey, with gravy, and about 3 steamed baby carrots, and I'm more than satisfied. I'm two weeks post-op today.

How many people did NOT tell their Place of Employment
I told my boss that I was having surgery, but nothing beyond that. I have now told two close friends at work what I had done , but I didn't tell them until post-op. I'm only 12 days post- op though, so we'll see how that goes as I get further out.

Protein powder help
Nope. She even gave me a print out. She said that my #1 goal is Water, #2 goal is Vitamins, #3 goal is puréed food. She has yet to give me a protein goal. I had also asked about possibly doing some of the clear Protein Drinks when I was still in the liquid stage (at one week post-op) and she said that Protein shakes aren't necessary or recommended.

Stomach binder
I've had two c-sections and never got one for those, but yes, I think it's the same thing.

Protein powder help
I can't remember (and don't know how to look on the app), but how far post op are you? I'm hoping to make some progress in the protein department this coming week.
