Hi everyone I want to see how everyone is doing. Just checking how the weight loss food intake is coming.

Hey everyone I'm doing pretty well since surgery! Down 20 lbs since surgery and feeling better everyday. Went back to work last week and was a bit tired.

They tell me that I'm still alive, but I'm not sure I believe them. Haha Seriously tho, not too bad so far. Pain is mild right now, tho it's all I can do to stay awake. And this TV does NOT have HD channels. Ugh. More updates to follow over the next few days.

I had surgery as well this morning. It happened really fast have been sleep off and on for the whole day. Thank golf for the pain pump and the walking. No good channels on this TV as well glad I brought my iPad. Congratulations to you:)

Alright everyone I am leaving for the hospital I am nervous and excited. Best wishes for everyone today.

Surgery is set for August 11th! Very excited but nervous at the same ti.e. The liquid diet before surgery really has me nervous. I have come to far to look back now:)

My appeal took 3 weeks to get a response! It seem like forever but I called the insurance company every day to see if anything was updated! Found out I was approved before the letter was mailed out to me so stay on the insurance company.

Whatever you do don't give up! That's what the insurance company wants us to do. Keep pushing you will get your approval. Best of luck and can't wait to hear you got approved:)

Started this journey back in December 2013! I was denied by bcbs because they didn't think it was medically needed! After writing a letter to the appeal there decision and my doctor having a peer to peer. Finally I have been approved. Going in to see my surgeon today to schedule surgery. It's hasn't been a easy road but I was not gonna take no for a answer. So I a true witness and I want to encourage someone else to just keep pushing.
