Sorry about the lost of your god mother. Actually I went to my 2 week post op appointment today. The nutritionist said these symptoms can be that you are not getting enough fluids. Hope everything works out

When I got approved I had gone on the insurance website and it showed authorizations for the surgery and the hospital stay. I called the doctor's office and they had not received it at that time but later on that day I received a call telling me that my surgery was approved. Good Luck!!!!

you will be ok just try to stick to the pre op plan as much as you can. I know its hard but you can do it. I think by far the pre op is the hardest part. Good Luck

I wouldn't put a lot of thought into it. I would go by my experience with the doctor. It all depends on how you feel about the doctor and your experience with him.

I hope so because I am also feeling these same symptoms. I also had my sleeve done on July 28th. I use my nutri ninja to blend my food and I seem to tolerate that pretty well. It is when the food is not blended well or food is chunky or thick I have the stomach pain and feel sick.

I really can't say. My doctor told me that the pre op diet was to shrink my liver. Just try to stick to your pre op diet from here on and hopefully everything will be ok. Good Luck!!!!

I think a trainer is a great idea . I just went for my 1 week Post Op yesterday and was told all I can do is cardio no core/ab exercises for at least a month. I am so ready to get back to the gym with my trainer. So when I return to work next week I will just do cardio until then.

Looking Good!!!!! Keep up the great work
I am super excited with my results this week so I thought I would share a picture. Hope everyone has a great day.

Well I was sleeved on July 28, No cancellation, Feeling great Thanks all
Well I didn't gain weight I did lose weight. When I went in for a weigh in on Friday my patient advocate told me I only lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks of starting the pre-op liquid diet. I followed the diet to the letter I felt so discouraged. She said she would have to send the doctor an email and if I didn't hear from her by that afternoon then report to the hospital @ the time given once the nurse called. We will see what happens tomorrow once I get to the hospital.

Rebecca I was wondering the same thing. I have muscle milk light but it's to sweet for me. I'm trying to look for something not to sweet.
I am a little over a week out now. Sleeve date was July 22nd. The first few days are the worst and it seems everyone has different issues. I felt like I was hit by a truck muscle pains everywhere but no nausea at all. Everyday I've gotten a little better and am up and around. I was just wondering what kind of Protein Shakes are you guys drinking. I have Unjury unflavored which I can taste in milk. Any yummy suggestion while still in the all liquid stage? Becca

OMG!!!! When I woke up from surgery I felt like I was hit by a truck, gas on my chest and shoulders was like nothing I ever experienced. Walking helped a lot
Good Luck! It gets better after the first few tough days! Ask for the gas meds. , walk like crazy, and a heating pack helped the gas pains in my shoulder!

@@Cupcake I got sleepy around 8pm and now I can't sleep. That was my thinking as well since I have to be at the hospital so early in the morning. It's now 10:25pm and I haven't gone to sleep yet. Feel like I'm in school when we had a field trip the following day you didn't want to oversleep.
Good luck sounds like you have everything work out and plan now just relax and breath lol, I know the night before my surgery I wet to bed early because i wanted the day I have waited for so long to hurry up and come, sounds silly but that was my thinking. I know your going to do great and your going to love the new you. I am almost 9 weeks out and I am loving love, the recovery was great and right after surgery I was up and walking and like my doctors and nurses say I was burning rubber on my IV stand. This new opportunity to be healthy and prolong your life is so worth it and I would do it again 100 times over. Good luck my friend we are all saving a seat for you on the losers bench. Keep us posted.

I didn't keep it a secret, but now I wishing I would have kept it to myself. As ERP said once people know especially family they have no qualms about telling you how they feel. My friends are very supportive because they know of the health issues.

Was wondering has anyone ever had their surgery cancelled because they didn't loose the weight the doctor wanted?
