  1. I think a trainer is a great idea :) . I just went for my 1 week Post Op yesterday and was told all I can do is cardio no core/ab exercises for at least a month. I am so ready to get back to the gym with my trainer. So when I return to work next week I will just do cardio until then.

  2. Well I was sleeved on July 28, No cancellation, Feeling great Thanks all :D

Well I didn't gain weight I did lose weight. When I went in for a weigh in on Friday my patient advocate told me I only lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks of starting the pre-op liquid diet. I followed the diet to the letter I felt so discouraged. She said she would have to send the doctor an email and if I didn't hear from her by that afternoon then report to the hospital @ the time given once the nurse called. We will see what happens tomorrow once I get to the hospital.

  3. Rebecca I was wondering the same thing. I have muscle milk light but it's to sweet for me. I'm trying to look for something not to sweet.

I am a little over a week out now. Sleeve date was July 22nd. The first few days are the worst and it seems everyone has different issues. I felt like I was hit by a truck muscle pains everywhere but no nausea at all. Everyday I've gotten a little better and am up and around. I was just wondering what kind of Protein Shakes are you guys drinking. I have Unjury unflavored which I can taste in milk. Any yummy suggestion while still in the all liquid stage? Becca

  4. @@Cupcake I got sleepy around 8pm and now I can't sleep. That was my thinking as well since I have to be at the hospital so early in the morning. It's now 10:25pm and I haven't gone to sleep yet. Feel like I'm in school when we had a field trip the following day you didn't want to oversleep.

Good luck sounds like you have everything work out and plan now just relax and breath lol, I know the night before my surgery I wet to bed early because i wanted the day I have waited for so long to hurry up and come, sounds silly but that was my thinking. I know your going to do great and your going to love the new you. I am almost 9 weeks out and I am loving love, the recovery was great and right after surgery I was up and walking and like my doctors and nurses say I was burning rubber on my IV stand. This new opportunity to be healthy and prolong your life is so worth it and I would do it again 100 times over. Good luck my friend we are all saving a seat for you on the losers bench. Keep us posted.
