  8. I'm doing OK as well. Down about 65 lb from surgery and about 95 over all. I started in a 2x-3x shirt and 24 pants and now wear a L-XL shirt and 16 pants. Every time I see my doctor though he tells me I am not doing enough and should be doing better so it is very frustrating and discouraging. I work out 4-5 days a week and am about half way through a couch to 5k program although my jogging is slow it is something. Signed up for my first 5k on May 1.

  10. My surgery was 9/3 and I'm only down 63lb. It has been slowing down the last month or two. I'm hoping it picks back up soon.
  11. My surgery was sept 3. I'm down 55 plus 10 pre op. My doc is not happy with my results and reduced my calorie intake to 600-700. I've also increased my exercise burning 600+ calories. I had a 3 week stall a month or two ago and a few shorter stalls throughout. I have finally started losing again with my reduced calorie intake and increased workouts. I have about 50 to go for my doctor's goal and 70 for my goal.
  12. I feel I am losing slow too. I am down about 50lbs since surgery (sept 3). I stalled for 3 weeks. It was super frustrating. I ended up increasing my calories to between 900-1000 and my protein to 80. It helped but its hard to maintain and I'm still not losing much. HW 285, SW 256 CW 206.
  13. I had my surgery 9/2 and things are moving slow. Only down about 27lbs. Was hoping for more but I've always been a slow loser. I am down 2 pants sizes so that is nice. I also lost 10 lb preop. I also found I can't tolerate eggs.

  15. I dumped on hot chocolate. Got it from the concession stand at my son's football game. Must have had too much sugar. I will never make that mistake again!!!
  16. I'm about the same way. Now 5 weeks out only down 23lb since surgery. Frustrating but I've also lost a size and a half in my clothes so I know something is working!

  18. Hope things get better.. I was readmitted 2 days after discharge for 3 more days due to my bowels not working right. I've been back home for 4 days now and feeling so much better. I'm 11 days post op.
  19. Doing much better. Was readmitted for an additional 3 days just a couple days after discharge. Had my 10 day post op yesterday and got my diet advanced to include protein shakes again. Next week I'll be on full liquids!
  20. Sorry you are having issues. Cdiff is a common infection to get at a health care facility. I am only 1 week post op and just got discharged again. Was readmitted due to my bowels not functioning correctly after surgery. Hoping for a smooth recovery from here on.
  21. My surgery was the 3rd and my back pain is as bad as my gas pain. Its finally starting to break up today but all.of my pain is across the top around where the drain was. My doc called and said my white blood of nts were high the last two days in the hospital so I need to go in for labs on Mon. Really hoping I don't have an infection.
  22. Surgery was sep3. Still having a lot of pain/discomfort. Doc called and said my white blood count was high so I have to o back for more labs Mon. May go get checked at the ER too just to be sure I'm OK.
  23. I am still in a lot of pain/discomfort. Doc called after I got home and said my white blood count is high so I may take a trip into the ER this weekend to get checked again. I'm scheduled for labs Mon.
  24. I'm still having quite a bit of gas pain. Walking every hr. Still hoping to go home tomorrow.
