  1. Mines from moisture. I sweat like a whore in church since my hysterectomy. Right now it's 23° outside and I just told hubby to turn the heat down cause I was sweating with just a sheet on. It's in the stomach folds as well. But on my back, arms neck it eczema and dry skin. I also have been getting hives so benadryl is my bff too.
  2. Mine stopped right away until I came off it. Not trying to scare you just have the chat with your doctor.
  3. It's been a long road but as far as getting it signed off on was fairly quick. I jumped thru a ton of hoops to get there. @ Jenniferg2013 I was told its just a code error. I've had 2 other hernia ops and they've always paid. This sucker is starting to give me problems so it's got to go. I had one during my hysterectomy and then I had one let go one day out of the blue. I never threw up so much in my life and recovery was a bi#ch.
  4. Just keep jumping those hoops. Nothing else to do. I had to go to 3 more months of psych eval cause I took the test the day after I got back from my brothers funeral and I was a wreck.
  5. Show the doctor he will prescribe either a lotrimin or a rash powder with the same ingredient. Try the otc jock itch meds or the monistat while waitIng
  6. Please know that no one is laughing at you. As long as you are doing well now that's all that matters. It was pretty funny.
  7. My sugery will be March 2nd. I could have had it sooner but having to fly to ny unexpectedly 2 days before Christmas for my best friends mom funeral cost me 500 bucks. So I'm ultra broke. So I had to wait till March.
  8. I haven't even had my surgery yet and my boob and stomach rash are super bad. I'm hoping I'll be able to get the insurance to cover them
  9. I was on depo for over 5 yrs and when I came off(and they are only supposed to keep you on it for 5 yrs) I couldn't stop bleeding. It was brutal. I had to have a hysterectomy at 45. I had my son and I only wanted one so it wasnt a big deal to me and after having a miserable reproductive life I welcomed it. But you are still young so be careful to discuss it with your doctor
  10. I have those same problems with my hubby. I haven't had my surgery yet so hopefully he'll see and be more open minded. I am super paranoid about losing him since I just lost my brother a few months back. Thinking of being alone scares the sh®t out of me. My therapist says I can't control what he does but I'm hoping he'll see the light. Good luck with yours.
  11. My stomach already looks like I've been in a drive by because of previous surgery so what's a couple more. But I used cocoa butter and vitamin e topically and by mouth after my knee replacements and they look pretty good.
  12. For those who are tired of the choc/vanilla/strawberry shakes I have found that extracts are a God send. Use vanilla as a base and add whatever flavor that floats your boat. Tho chocolate shake with real blueberries and a dab of blueberry extract can help you get the flavor and fruit you need. Amazon has almost every flavor you can think of.
  13. awesome. I'm waiting on my date but I'm going to do it that way as well.congrats
  14. The lidocaine is the thing that bothers me. I had a close friend who decrypted a lidocaine allergy while getting her lips done. They called in the priest for her she was so bad
  15. I have to call the dr tomorrow but I still have to fight for the hernia surgery. So hopefully some time this month
  16. If it's filed give them a couple days then start being the squeaky wheel. The only reason I didn't harass cigna was I had a death in the family and knew I couldn't get it done before the end of the year. Otherwise id have been crawling all over them
  17. I was told that as long as you didn't gain more than your start weight. I was a at family funeral for the last 2 weeks in ny and I'm sure I gained some of the 20ish lbs I lost. Just got back today, back on the wagon tomorrow. Protein shakes. I have already been approved but I don't want to take any chances
  18. Contact the doctors team and see if they can help you appeal
  19. Keep harassing them. The squeaky wheel talk to everyone and get an appeal
  20. Maybe we'll be sleeve sisters. I have to go in to the doctor asap
  21. Since March 2014. Got approved Dec 26. Cigna makes you do hoops but once your done they were quick
  22. I'll be on the doctor and insurance tomorrow about the hernia
  23. Maybe since your close to Mexico maybe you can find a doctor there? It'll be less expensive than in the US
  24. Well I was approved by Cigna in 9 days after the doctor filed it. They say nothing about the hernia that my doctor says I have and wants to remove. Of course my life happens and I cant have it done till this month. I had to go to my best friends mom funeral and stay with her since the day before Christmas then her sister had a heart attack. Wasnt meant to be for 2014 but I'm ready to kick 2015's ass. Extra co pays deductibles or not!
