Lol, I bought 50 shades of grey for my surgery recuperation too. Lol good luck and speedy recovery to everyone.

Sooo post-op day 3 and I'm home. Day 1 was fine; day 2 was terrible with dehydration and pain. Pain wasn't from the gas but realized later it was from the drain which came out but the site leaked through my bandage and my abdominal binder. Much better today, mostly just sore struggling to get in protein and water. Thanks for the prayers and well wishes as I've never seen my surgeon quite so bubbly, she was very pleased after surgery! Good luck to those still to come and a speedy recovery to those who are on the mending side! We've all GOT this!!

Didn't mean to like the post...yes there are liquid and you should ask for it. They're not amazingly flavored but better than the bitter pills. Good luck let us know what they say!

Are they lactose free shakes? Sometimes after surgery you can become temporarily lactose intolerant.

i think the only way I'll sleep Wednesday is with the help of Ambien!

Most multivitamins do contain iron, however since it can be toxic to children a lot of chewables don't...it will state it on the bottle if it contains iron. You should be taking the extra iron as our bodies do not readily absorb iron after surgery.
