I think it looks great - and if you change your mind - like I said in the previous post - permanent is never permanent - and you look fabulous!!!! And the hunk on your arm!!! What a charming couple you two make!

I'm a fan of REDHEADS, but have been a faithful blonde for many years also. I have been every shade of color except for black and I enjoy changing my hair as much as I much as I can - I always do something different. For now - I say go totally blonde - it will be fun for awhile - then you need to try being a redhead - I change the color of my hair depending on what's going on in my life. I really find people react differently to me depending on my hair color - or maybe thats just what I think - its an amazing experience - you should try it! Permanent haircolor is still NEVER permanent. One advice about going RED - reds fade awful quickly and require more maintenence to keep it bright and pretty, but also being blonde you have to keep up on your roots - nothing I hate more (and I'm guilty of it too) is having dark roots with blonde hair. I''m not talking just a little root showing - talking like the skanks that have 3 inches of black roots with platiunum blonde hair - gross! Only once did I ever let my hair get that bad and I saw a pic - that was enough! When I'm blonde I keep up on that shit now! I looked soooo white trashy - its still a sad pic!

I'm dying here - somebody for the love of God find out what these lil buggers were actually made for! As of now - I'm going with the drink markers or book marks - I have a stainless steel bookmark that has writing on it but its semi-flat...............hmmmmmmm I'll join the hunt here and start asking too.

So this is what happened to me today that made me feel real good I was leaving my cul-de-sac which is one street from the highway I take on my way to work. I'm at the stop sign getting ready to turn onto the highway when this cutie on a big purple chopper bike turned into our subdivision - I was checkin is pretty bike out the whole time he passed me and smiling at him - HE IMMEDIATELY WHIPS a u-turn behind me and follows me out onto the highway - he then gets real close on my bumper and then slowly passes me - checkin me out the whole time and then he speeds off rumbling loudly on his chopper. It made me feel pretty good - the funny thing is that my boyfriend was taking the dog out back for a potty break and our back yard faces the stretch of highway where this happened and I'm sure he saw the whole thing! LOL - but he loves choppers so I'm sure he was checkin this dudes bike out too! Just had to post that I had something nice happen today

Hmmm - before surgery I could burp really well. Since post banding?? I've maybe had a handful of burps - I just can't do it anymore even when I feel the need. IN place of burping I now get single hiccups periodically throughout the day - I just figure its my body releasing air in my tummy - its so common now - sometimes its a loud one and people tease me about "drinking to early in the day huh?" - I've gotten used to it now.

Cool - thanks for adding to the discussion - I had never heard of these things until now - very interesting stuff!

1. To be able to comfortably sit on my boyfriends lap without causing him permanent nerve damage from circulation being cut off. 2. To have my boyfriend be able to carry me. 3. To try swinging from the ceiling fan when in the bedroom with my man LOL - not really, but you get the idea. 4. To get in and out of my low-riding 35th Anniversary Edition Camaro without feeling like I have to roll out of it and to have my seat belt fit better so it doesn't always twist around. 5. To not be out of breath from walking the dog a few blocks. 6. To be able to look down and see my "chachee" and "giblets" 7. To not have my thighs rub together so loud I can actually hear it sometimes! Not to have only the thighs rub out of my jeans - sometimes I swear I could start a fire if I walk to fast. 8. To be able to sit comforably in concert seats - to be less self-conscious of myself when out in public when seeing cute skinny women barely clothed. 9. I too would like to go horseback riding with my boyfriend.

Oh that is soooo true! It makes me sick when you can see their back bones and even more so when you can see their breast bone usually with big ol fake knockers - it'ssss soooooo disgusting! I want to run up and slap a cheesburger down their throat followed by gallons of ice cream - eat already wouldya!!! My sister's SIL is sooo skinny like that - she brags about eating a handful of popcorn for lunch and pretzels for dinner - gross! All just to be thin and I don't think she has a great body - she's all bones! Thank God I will never look like that - if I can only make it to 200lbs with this surgery then it's all been worth it! I love being a plus size lady - I just want to be a HEALTHY toned plus size lady - face it - we've really got it going on in life!

Don't excercise enough - I walk twice a week for 20 minutes. Have bought some new plus size yoga DVD's to help with moving more. Don't drink enough Water - only choke down maybe 1 large 32oz everyday. Don't eat healthy enough - I do eat more veggies but its hard for me to get them in on a regular basis. I am pretty good about not drinking with meals - occasionally I do, but most of the time I put my drink in the fridge for at least 30 minutes after I eat that way I'm not even tempted by having it in front of me.

AaaaahHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH LMMFAO!!!! I love it! I'm going to start saying that! EEwwww Skinny People Scare Me! I hope you don't mind if I adopt this - its just too freakin funny Ok - everyone probably has one of these friends - but I have this BEAUTIFUL gal pal that I've had since childhood - she is a literal blessed size 2 and sometime size 0 - but she pulls it off - she beautiful and skinny and on top of it she NEVER has to do anything to maintain it. She's 25 and eats like a pig - fast food everyday 3 or 4 times - single never cooks for herself - can eat 1/2 a large pizza in one sitting - never excercises EVER and NEVER has - and has always had PLENTY of men friends. Even my boyfriend talks about how cute she is and it makes me damn freakin mad - I eat better than her and put forth the effort and then take a look at her life. It's just not fair. And don't say it will catch up with her because it won't - her mom is the same way - she annoys me when she talks about "getting a gut" - where in God's name does someone who bounces between a 0 and size 2 have a gut to put somewhere? Ugghhhhhhhhhhh why didn't I get blessed with those genes? Skinny bitch scares me.........LOL

Hey I just read a brief paragraph about how the governement had speed controls that could be put on every car and somehow it would work with each speed zone - pretty much eliminating all speeding etc. but that they banned it because then they would lose out on a lot of money from police writing tickets for people who break traffic laws etc. Interesting..............

Way to go DeLarla!!!! I too have a co-worker who drives me nuts!! For numerous reasons - but picture being locked in a basement 911 dispatch center with someone you can't stand for over 12 hours 3 times a week!! He drives me nuts in every way. The only good thing I can say is that he is a good partner as far as work goes - I can't complain - he does his job well and we work well together. BUT - let me tell you 3 years ago when the Adkins really hit it big - he went on it and dropped 80lbs very very quickly - I'm talking in a few months - well he was constantly Adkins this Adkins that - can't do this - can't do that - and I do mean constantly - if it wasn't that then it was about having to change pant sizes - but I'm not talking about mentioning it once a week - he would literally talk about it for HOURS!!!! All day - everyday - and of course everyone who saw him would comment on his weight loss - and then it would be the same thing over again - Adkins this Adkins that - I tell you to this day I can't stand it when I hear the word Adkins - I go into involountary seizures from hearing it. Theeeeeeeennnnnnnnn - he slowly started gaining weight back, but do you think he shut up then? NOoooooo it was - oh gotta get back on Adkins - gotta get bacon and cheese blah blah blah. And so here it is 3 years later and he's kept the majority of the weight off, although he goes UP and DOWN constantly - but yet he still talks Adkins this - maybe this doesn't seem that bad, but if you knew him and the rest of his annoying antics - it would drive any one insane - I've worked with him for 6 years now. I could start a whole thread on annoying co-workers listing only things he's done - this is just the tip of the iceberg with my co-worker - I've actually had to pray for strength and patience and only within the last few months have I been able to come in with a different attitude because I choose too. And now you are too You are not alone in this battle and hey arn't we going on day 5 tomorrow with no sugar?/= YEAAA!!!!!

I don't know if we're allowed to share prices of dr.'s on here but let me say he is very reasonable - he doesn't charge the $2,000 annual fee for life like Mid-West Institute of Bariatric Surgery was charging for all patients who were banded elsewhere. He is located in North Kansas City off of N Oak Trafficway - let me know if you can't find his number through information - I believe his practice is called Malley's Surgical Weight Loss or something close to that.

Ok, so I'm getting ready to place an order with DeLarla - but I wanted some opinions on some products. It's the stuff called"X-Scream" and there's another one I can't remember the name but it does the same thing - that's supposed to make your giblets all tingly when applied to the area - has anyone tried it? Does it work? Is there something you prefer better than that? Also had a question about the "Good Head" - does it numb the back of your throat? Anyone tried it? What do you think? And also about the "Like a Virgin" - that's supposed to well make it like a virgin - does it work? Is it it worth it? I only plan on trying one right now so wanted to know which would be the best bang for my buck - no pun intended LOL!

mine holds 4 cc's and is the 9.75 - don't know why he chose that one - but I do know that my aftercare Dr. here in the states at first had a little trouble finding my port because he said due to the small band - he said I don't know why the Mexican Dr's prefer the small bands - but that was the only thing he ever said and he hasn't had any difficulty locating my port after the initial one.

My lovely DeLarla - I too loved soda - long before I got my band my boyfriend was constantly bitching about me getting one soda everyday - we would fight about it constantly because he gave up soda and would brag about how he only drinks water now and blah blah blah blah freakidy blah blah! It used to piss me off like no other. "we need to get healthy yada yada yada" every single freakin day I had to hear it from him when I NEVER agreed to give up pop in the first place ever! More kudos to him for doing it for himself but why the hell was he riding my ass everyday!! I just craved that sweet liquid and the bubbles tingling down my throat - yumm! BUT, I too had to give it up cold turkey after surgery. At first it was ok, but then it got worse, and eventually I was ok. Now I must confess that I do have 1 or 2 a month - I grant it as my splooge when I'm angry, upset, sad - I know its not good, but I've given up every damn other thing including cutting back smoking to only 1 pack a week! But I'm sooo worried about stretchin my pouch that I keep the soda to only 1 or 2 a month and that's wonderful considering I'd drink a 32oz from QT everyday before banding! and if I splooge - forget the diet crap. I do have to say that soda is my weakness before junk food - and when I do splooge it's always at work and never around my boyfriend so I don't have to hear it from him. Anyway just wanted to share my additction - as you see you are not alone and F*CK that bit*ch Erin - Karma baby - just remember Karma - she's going to die very young and sadly and you will live long after. YOU MUST SHAKE THOSE CANS!! AND I DO MEAN SODA CANS!!!!!! I wish I were there to help you!! thanks for the great website - I will go check it out As far as colonics being painful - I've never had one but my parents are doing them. I asked my mom to be honest and she said it didn't hurt at all. The first time it was a little uncomfortable but you got used to it and all sessions after that were a breeze. I'm still reading the book - anyone care to compare notes? How much was the book running at costco?
