I only told my group (10 people) but not my dept. (80) I'm sure they will talk but everyone else is on a need to know.

i had one when i went under and it was there until i started walking.my nurse and i had a good joke talking about "just the tip" good times i hope i dont have to get that again.

Hi my surgeon was dr. Stauffer. I had my procedure done at mayo clinic. No regrets ...the service was professional and the staff was awesome.

My dr. Said nothing the night before after 5. I saw others do the 2 week and I wanted to go through that process to prep myself. It'll make u stronger and I appreciate the journey that I'm currently going through. Stay focused though.

5 here the main incision is all bruised up.

Minor hiccups but all is well...I missed having a peach yogurt smoothie.

I'll start a new chapter of my life and I'll join the sleeved people on this site. I don't post much but I've learned so much as I countdown the time before I start my new sleeved journey.

Getting ready for my sleeve...I will be getting mine at mayo. 11. 14. Based on what I've read it's good to know I'm on the same wavelength with some of you folks in terms of readiness and being nervous.

I am now awaiting the green light before I can start scheduling my surgery....anyone have any experience with mayo clinic? I intend to have mine there.....pretty nervous esp. Since i will also have to have major hip surgery once my sleeve is healed. I can never get enough info from all the threads I've been reading on this site...everyone is so supportive and it's something needed for those that try to not confide in everyone their plans to have these procedures done. hopefully October is my month. I use centrum also...any advice for vitamin d3? My dr. Said I'm low and recommended taking 2000 itl of vitamin d3....is there a liquid? Would soft gels work? Or is it something I can just crush? Thanks for any advice

I'm going through my battery of tests hoping to get clearance.....it's pretty inspiring reading all these stories and the education of what to expect. I guess I'm late to the game accepting that I tend to be an emotional eater....looking to make a change and looking forward to continually be inspired by the people of this site
