But man..in 2 months...58 lbs I'll never see again. I don't want this ride to end. My mental toughness has been tested during this journey. I know there's more to look forward to good and bad... if this is all I lose by far this is a great success story. I'd obviously like to lose more it's just I'm happy with my decisions and how my life has changed since having this surgery. Hope everyone's having as wonderful a Monday as me.

6 weeks for me and it's been a journey. Just keep pushing I guess.I love this title but would be happy to give my big butt away! Love the song though. When postop did people return to exercising? I hear that walking is great postop immediately but when about weight training? I'm in a bariatric exercise class and just love it!

I get like that as well...people notice a diff...but I sometimes see my old self and it's hard to accept. Like I'm dreaming. You won't see that 48 lbs again and you gotta keep pushing and hopefully you'll meet your goal.

I was cleared to work out and have told my personal trainer about my surgery. I am currently doing circuit training at the machines for strength training. My baseline weights for legs is 60lbs arms and back 50 lbs and chest at 60lbs. I'm starting from scratch I've lost 54 lbs and some muscle so my gym days have been kicking my butt. I've upped my Protein though and I do 30 mons of cardio...I look to up the weights as I become more acclimated. I'm hoping this will help me find my balance as I try to keep losing weight while just being stronger.

I just learned to include this quote...can anyone help me understand this? I don't eat rice(yes an Asian that doesn't eat rice) I tried mashed potatoes in the blenderized phase..nothing now though. Just trying to understand as I'm trying to follow my nut and I know there are always diff of opinionNo bread for me! I'm staying away from bread, potatoes and rice for now. I may slowly introduce them when I'm in maintenance, but for now I don't need those carbs hindering my weight loss.

At soft foods I was ok'ed to have a slice of wheat bread...maybe someone can school me on the diff of not having toast but having rice? Maybe I read it differently but someone said they don't eat bread but they eat rice?
