The water issue I'm with you.I'm thirsty all the time can't seem to get enuff an I havnt had surgery yet it's next Tuesday but I can gulp down a water bottle. ..the gulping to quench thirst is goin to b a issue. ..an I drink thru out the day...

Me too on the tummy I already warned the hubs it's goin to happen! I'm goin this far u bet...

I had one size of a football on my spine...had never noticed it till a surgeon showed my hubs...needles to say it got removed...I also ended up with one big one on side of right breast we thought for sure it was cancer but it wasn't but it also got removed it ended up being calcium deposit,

Sounds like bile...I have had issues with throwing up all last yr..Dr put me on zofran for nausea an vomiting. I had gastritis real bad from young till I was 16..the past several yrs it's resurfaced. ..I see this was a few wks ago I hope ur better..

I'm doin that now! I was just sitting here thinking who I can give this to.I cleaned out fridg earlier today! I'm right there with ya..mine is Tuesday the 8th...excited!

I'm not telling mine either yet..I did say theyr going in an fixing my tummy an hernia. I didn't say weight loss was the side effect theyll figure that one out..haha: )

Thank you for your input....we have to stick with program. ..I've thought over this for 15 yrs...it's time for action.I hit 50 an I want control over my life back..it's action time. I consider myself blessed I've gotten to a date an it's next Tuesday!

I no about the chronic fatigue with lupus,fibro, polymyalgia an hashis just to name a few also I have my big day Tuesday I'm excited an nervous. .I was told to allow at least 6 to 8 wks to heal.I to take plaquinil among others. I am looking forward to this journey physically a lil concernd about mental being 30 yrs of bad eating behaviour but I was cleared an I no it's a day by day journey. ..Hang in there Keep posting when you can an I will to...I'm going to be using an indoor bike mostly I wear out real easy. Baby steps!

Great advice with therapy. .I'm in a better place now then ever...2 yrs of therapy helped tremendously. ..sometimes we have to differentiate between a true hunger feeling,emotional eating for comfort or we are just addicted to food. Great thought! Helped me to...

I don't no about others but mine said 70 grms a day for women an 80 for men.

Hi y'all! Im a newbie...It has taken me a few times loggin in to find out where to start but here I am! Im on count down...my surgery is tuesday I cant believe Im actually going to do this. over the yrs in the back of my mind I have thought about WLS but never was directed this route until the past several yrs the weight will NOT come off! no matter what I do. Im hungry even after I eat a full meal. the past 14 months Iv put on close to 50 pds and that is even doing WW...I said hell with this! with several dr's keep telling me my thyroid was WITHIN range I knew something wasnt right. finally insisted on getting referred to endo an sure enuff between US seeing the goiter on it getting biopsy and antibody BW confirmed Hashis..her an my internists with bad GERD and IBS forever they both sent me to WLS here in my area. so from beginning finding out my insurance will pay I started the preocess. its been 3 months an now Im scheduled...it feels like a dream. up till I was 18 I weighing a lil over 100 pds...then with 2 pregnancys an my health going waywire it just kept creeping up.I am 50 now an I refuse to live like this any longer. prediabetic but with insulin resistance my endo suggested to have the sleeve done so here I am..Ive had 15 yrs of thinking about this an with hubby on board Im doing this! my emotions are all over the place. I have 2 shakes a day an a lowfat meal once an a few Snacks..the last 48 hrs its only 3 shakes.. well..thats my story an Im sticken to it best wishes to all...still learning the in an outs on this forum. when I leave messages and get notices I am having a hard time finding which forum its from..Ill figure it out. I'm in the same boat..removing stomach hormones. ..it affects the release of more insulin it's a vicious cycle...I'm on thyroid armour will be for life but I'm always hungry. Even after eating a meal my stomach continues to feel hungry..my internists an endocrinologist steered me to have the sleeve done since I take meds so they can still digest.

I have hashis an several autoimmune diseases along with fibro,polymyalgia GERD, sleep apnea I have a CPAP, among a list of other things insulin resistance. ...my 2 specialist sent me to WLS. They both said I met criteria. ..bmi has hit 41 just the past 14 months I've gained 50 pds so now Iv hit around 250 or so...we are stopping this dead in its tracks before it goes any further. I take meds daily an one is capsule for GERD told me I didn't have to pull apart but I do take wellbuterin for depression an anxiety those I can crush for a bit...I've been in the st system for 3 months...once I finished all classes an labs an cleared from drs my insurance approval was in 48 hrs. ..I'm sick n tired of being sick n tired..I was on WW for 6 month didn't lose anything. ..I want my own self back an my hubs is supporting me all the way.he said it was my decision an what ever I decided he would back me up..being over weight like this is extremely fatigued, an no life. Iv been thinking of this for 15 yrs..I wasn't as big till the last yr low an behold it happened! With insulin resistance ur body doesn't use glucose for energy. I'm not telling my family an only a few close girl friends no..I don't want to hear everyone's opinions..diet an exercise has obviously not wrkd for me.I'm always hungry. It has taken 3 months for me an that's what a friend told me hers was...I had already had all classes in preop testing done an as soon as I got released from my drs they submitted it that evening. .it also depends on what all required from your insurance. .hang in there! Mine is Tuesday I'm nervous anxious excited all wrapped up into one nerve ball! My insides are shaking threw up yesterday I'm sure it won't b the last.
