    Pain on the left

Keep us posted. I'll say a little prayer that it's nothing more than constipation. =)

    Sinus infection and antibiotics (TMI)

Uhm yeah, Miralax will make you go more not less. Maybe they misunderstood, "I can't stop sh!tting" for "I can't sh!t"??? Gosh, I hope this improves for you!

    Homemade Hair Masks

I'm on Rogaine for life. Repeated bouts of hair loss for one reason or another has caused so much damage to my hair, that it's never fully recovered. I use a hair line called Posh Hair Care. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff. It's pricey and does nothing for hair loss, but it makes my thin hair look AND feel like I have twice as much. No kidding. It is fantastic and makes me so much less self conscious about my thinned hair.

    Pain on the left

Yes, time to go to the ER. Whatever's going on if it hurts enough to bring you to tears, that means it's time to seek medical help. I hope you feel better soon.

@@blondiebabs, "One that's already established"! Y'all are killing me tonight! Hilarious! ????????????

    Front Butt

I posted this on another thread ad well, but the mons gets lifted when a tummy tuck is done. The surgeon will cut directly above the pubic hair line, and when the tummy incision is approximated, the mons gets lifted.

    Front Butt

@@Buttercupbrown, your mons is the large area at the top of your vajay; where the majority of pubic hair is located. It's also called the top of the "moose knuckle". ????????

    Personal question

DEAD @ "rolled up honeybun"! ???????????? If you get a tummy tuck the plastic surgeon will lift your mons as well. The reptuable ones anyway. But thanks for the laugh. Hilarious!! Now I want to go look at my vaj. Tee hee.

    Change in Urine Color

It is dehydration, and if you can't correct it on your own today, it'd be best to seek medical care for IV fluids. The kidneys are intolerant of prolonged dehydration and combined with a high protein diet = potential kidney problems.
  10. High protein; low carb; avoid salt; only drink water; workout every single day; go for an extremely long walk (6 miles or so) and then take a hot bath with epsom salts; take a strong laxative; wear very light clothing (no jeans) to your final weigh-in; avoid drinking or eating the morning of the weigh-in; wear flip flops. Bring a bottle of water in your purse to start rehydrating after you are weighed.
  11. @@BLERDgirl, exactly. @@MisforMimi, EXACTLY. I was too through with that and I was one of the people genuinely concerned and praying only to find out dude was surfing this forum on the low low while everyone is thinking the worst. Seriously..... I never liked getting played by boys when I was younger and I certainly don't like it from people who just want to garner sympathy. I'll save my prayers for people who really need it and my advice for people who understand that earth is indeed round. @@Kindle, bless your heart for even trying to help the OP.

    Depressions a b***h

Measure all of your body parts and put the scale away. Use your measurements and smaller clothing to gauge your progress.
  13. You've got a lot of research to do and I hope that you have plenty of time to do so before having surgery. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Lying about what type of surgery..

Gallbladder disease is prevalent after WLS. If that were to happen and then its surgical removal were necessary, then what?
  15. I can imagine. Brings images to my mind of the Holocaust. Back to my original comment. Getting a second medical opinion is a really smart thing to do. People do it all of the time with other diagnoses like cancer or autoimmune disorders. No reputable medical doctor would suggest such a thing as this. Not a reputable one. It matters not whether they will supervise you or not. I supervise my sh/t when I flush the toilet. So....you get the point.

    Sinus infection and antibiotics (TMI)

Yes, take them with food instead of on an empty stomach and eat yogurt that has some probiotics. Keep an eye out 'down there' for a post-antibiotic yeast infection. Hope you feel better soon.

    Sleeve or lap band?

There is "talk" about LapBands being recalled and removed from the market. The failure rate is high and the complication rate is even higher. More and more surgeons are simply not doing them anymore. Please ask your surgeon about this at your next visit so that you can make an informed decision. Btw, 57 is still pretty young. Good luck with your decision.

    Too weak for exercise?

Those symptoms sound like hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). If it happens again, check your glucose level and if it's really low you'll know the source of this problem. Feel better soon!

    Stomach Virus Post-Op?

Better than airborne. I swear by this product. My daughter and husband both had Swine Flu over Thanksgiving; I used Halo and never caught it. Whenever patients cough in my face or if I'm at the movies, the mall, grocery store, or whatever - and there are lots of people around coughing and hacking all over the place, I use my Halo spray and it really is like a protective halo. Works like a charm. I keep one on my nightstand and one in my work bag.

    Worried

I am very concerned as well.

    Stomach Virus Post-Op?

I use Halo oral spray. Whenever I've been exposed to cooties or I'm around large groups of people, I use my Halo spray and it actually works.
