I am 6 weeks post-op and I have lost a total of 35 lbs! Yay Me! Last night I was in such pain. In felt like it was in my stomach and radiated into my lower back. I felt nauseated and dry heaved. It lasted for about 3 hours. I thought maybe some food got stuck but I last eaten hours before this. Could it be the start of gallbladder issues? I hate the thought that I would need more surgery. Has anyone experienced this?

Baked yams is a good choice too. I loved Tomato Soup with a couple of saltine crackers. Meatballs mushed up with marinara sauce is yummy too.

I had the same issue and it freaked me out. But the good news is it will go away. It's gas trapped from your surgery. Gas-X helps and walking.

I can feel my port too. Freaked me out as well.

I know exactly how you feel. I was banded in July. I am STARVING!!! I eat a lot Protein, drink a lot of Water and stay out of the kitchen. It has been challenging. But seeing the numbers go down on the scale makes it all worth it. Hang in there.

_{I was really sad and cried a lot the first week. Your whole life has changed. Surgery is traumatic. But the positive thing is you will feel better. Once the weight starts coming off you will be thrilled and happy. I have lost 35 lbs since July and I am so thrilled.}

I am 4 weeks post-op. I have lost 30 lbs thus far. I am STARVING!!!! I go to bed with my stomach growling. I cannot wait for my first fill. Has anyone else had this problem? I am following the diet plan that was given to me by my doctor's office to the "T". Drinking 60 oz. of Water daily. I also have been having a burning/stinging sensation around my port. Has anyone else felt that?

3 days post-op and I cry a lot. Did I do the right thing? When will I feel "normal" again? The anxiety is overwhelming. I try to walk but have no energy and yet I can't relax. I can't tolerate the Protein drinks so I am drinking sugar free instant caranation Breakfast and pureed Soups. Anyone else feel this way?

I just had my surgery and I am having a lot of anxiety. Did I do the right thing? How long will this feeling last? I have been walking non-stop but I can't sleep. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

My surgery is July 14, 2014. I have been on the pre-op diet for 13 days but I cheated a little. The Protein shakes made me vomit. I drank carnation instant Breakfast 2x daily and ate a low-fat dinner like grilled chicken or salad but not everyday. Will this impede my surgery at all? I am really scared.
