That was the first thing out of my mouth when I saw my dr. for my two-week follow-up. On a 90 degree day. "I'm cold all the time!" LOL

He said it was totally normal, and to expect it to get worse through the winter--"invest in fleece!" he said! What a joker. It's more than just losing weight. It's operating on so few calories, as well as our bodies spending so much energy on healing. It should get better in a year or two.

I'm actually self-pay; it's my surgeon who wants a colonoscopy when they do the EGD. There is some family history of colon cancer--I think he just wants me to get checked in case (it also may make it *more* likely for my insurance to pay for the test).

The only question in my mind is "will the colonoscopy be better or worse than the sleep study?" LOL!

I did mine last night, too. I slept maybe 2 hours, all interrupted! They came in around 2 am with a CPAP because I'd had a few "incidences" (hard to believe since I was basically awake thinking about ripping those tubes out of my nose the whole time)and when the tech put it on me I lasted about 20 seconds before I was sitting up in bed, heart racing and saying "take it off! get it off me!" Ugh. He didn't make me keep wearing it, at least. But I don't see how anyone could have slept...cold, windy room; squishy pillows; oh yeah...and feeling like an octopus was crawling up my nose. Fun, fun!
