Thank you I've been lap banded for 2 years now and feel amazing. What did you have done. I've been cooking so many lab band foods and going to open my tiny bites for people who wanna eat small and stay healthy. I have lots of amazing foods and just the right size.

I just eat all Protein and veggies nothing else but like chose and little milk. Lots of Water and good fruit when I can eat. Too many carbs bug my band down and take away my Protein and making me feel bloated. Pasta makes my blog sugars spike and I feel energy drained all day. With its could eat it.

I have pros and lap band done for myself to control the hidden symptoms of my pcos. You need to detox your body and be careful about dairy products for pros. I eat a lot of Protein and veggies and detox about 3 days a week and drink basil seeds for the antiflamtory I have.

Hey I am a lap band patient myself and I got stuck at 50lbs too so I ramped up my Protein to 90 grams a day and then started slowly introducing new foods again. Every time u get stuck or just can't lose it you have to retriever that sensor in your band to make it work. Remember it's just a tool for you its not the fix. I have many amazing high Protein foods and my own tiny bites for weight lose people like me to eat. Healthy and fun ..

Yeah my surgery is about 4800 total and my fills through a nature part doctor is about 170 per fill. That's not to bad. I am super excited about my surgery. I am having surgery June 28th and be home by June 29th so it's simple and quick. I have lived with my best friend for give years who's has had the lap band I help her out and I am sure she will return the support. I cook for her so I know what I can and can't have. I have some amazing healthy recipes too.

My surgery was set for this Friday. Exciting right? I thought so until i got a phone call today advising me of sum $4000+ that i have to come up with before the surgery. 5 mo of co pays, labs, dr visits ,nutritionists, psychiatrists, almost 2 f'in weeks of this stupid liquid diet and for what.. How can they build someone up like this to just crush them? Surgery is canceled and i don't know what to do with myself.
Hi there!
It's ok to feel down. Medical insurance is hard to understand. I work with billing and coding departments all day long. They should of told you up front. I'm so sorry.
The positive side is that you are strong enough to be on your fasting diet you can do this. You have the right mind set and your health is that much better in the long run. I have been telling myself you can't put a price on your health. Your worth every ounce.
I am having my surgery June 28 in Mexico with a surgeon from San Diego because of the USA health cost out if pocket and plus he creates the banding that doesn't ever slip. I am super nervous but I know my life and my health will change making me feel so much better.
Keep in touch and good luck

Yum that sounds good. Last night made some tofu zucchini wrap with sweet chili sauce. Then had a salad with walnuts, dragonfruit and strawberries with poppyseeds olive oil and a pinch of honey.
