I had to do an upper endoscopy and a stress test and that was it.

I had dumping after having my gallbladder out prior to my vsg. I was put on medication and it has helped tremendously. Since I have had the vsg, it has slowed down but I still have to take the meds.

Is it safe to take fiber supplements post gastric sleeve. I dont see my dr for another month.

Nope it's not an infection just inflammation

It just means the lining of your stomach in inflamed. You may need to modify your diet and start an antacid or ppis. Stay away from spicy foods, alcohol, acidic foods. I had gastritis and still was able to get my surgery.

I had mine done in dallas tx with dr frenzel. He did not require me to a sleep study just a egd and stress test. I did all my labs through my pcp.

I was self pay. I paid 10500. I still had to do a stress test and egd. I feel that since I was self pay I had to do alot of research and learning on my own. My surgery was outpatient. Everything went very well.
