1. I feel like what I'm eating is too much but I don't physically feel like it. Ok eating out for instance.... Because we all have to do it sometimes...are you able to order a whole grilled chicken sandwhich (minus the bread) and eat the whole grilled chicken patty on it?

My weight has been stalling aaaa llllooottt. And it's really frustrating.

If u don't mind me asking how much have you lost since surgery?

  2. When did you have surgery? And how much have you lost now? If you don't mind me asking.

I had my surgery April 7th. I have lost a total of 67 pounds. Roughly I lost 30 pounds in the first few weeks, then stalled for 5 weeks through May. So through June and July I have lost about 37 pounds.

I don't know if it's a "good" pace or not but my weight has gone consistently down each week, with the exception of my period weeks sometimes it will only go down 1lb or 0.

(Also to note, my starting weight was 310 and I'm 5'4''. My official "excess" weight was about 160 pounds I think. So "lbs" lost vs % lost ... I don't think my pace is as good as others with as much as I have to lose. But I haven't tried to compare a whole lot, I'm happy with the down direction lol).

That's awesome!! I'm down 43 now...but I'm just looking forward to losing more (: Also....how much are you eating? Sometimes I feel like I eat more than I should. Sometimes I eat a little bit and I feel full fast. And sometimes I eat more And I don't get that feeling. What's a lot? Like how many ounces do they say we should eat at a time?

  3. I feel your pain! I saw people posting about stalling for several days .... I was stalled starting at the three week mark ... For five weeks not a pound lost.

It did break! Lost about six pounds in one week finally then 2 - 4 pounds per week for a good clip of time.

I had been tracking using MFP and I was second guessing everything! But I didn't really do anything to break the stall. I was at a moderate activity level and following my NUT guidelines. I agree with others your body needs to adjust itself. We put it through a lot with surgery!

When did you have surgery? And how much have you lost now? If you don't mind me asking.

  4.
i'm dealing with a stall, too, and it's driving me bananas, but it is definitely good to know that it's a pretty common thing. i was sleeved 6/25 and have a similar situation going on as you, p-ruck21. hopefully we get past this in the next couple of days!

I hope so too!! Keep me posted (:

  5. Ok so I am getting so irritated. I hag surgery June 23. I lost 20 lbs before. And in my first couple weeks after surgery I lost another 20. But for the past couple weeks I've lost nothing.....nothing. I'm getting a lot of Protein, and enough calories! What the heck is happening? I feel like almost 3 weeks of nothing is a long freakin time. Anyone else have this problem?

  6. Okay so it had to happen right, a little over four days and I am going crazy! I don't mind the drinks - muscle milk, Premier Protein, EAS, they are all pretty good, but they are all sweet! I want something savory.....something that tastes like dinner, not desert! I just fixed the kids macaroni and cheese, and I chewed it and spit it out! Sad, I know, but I am going crazy! HELP please.

I just posted something similar :( I'm struggling too.

  7. So I was sleeved June 23rd...I'm down 38 pounds (that includes the weight I lost during my 2 week pre op diet) I've been doing pretty good mentally up until recently. I am sooooo tired of these post op phases to the point of tears. I just moved to the purée foods and I thought changing it up with make me feel better but it doesn't. I would kill for a freakin crunch...it's not even that I want anything bad for me. Actually...what I'm craving is a veggie tray with hummus but I can't have it. Some people say these phases don't bother them because nothing sounds good...but to me anything but Protein Drinks, Soup, and mooshy crap sounds good. Ive been doing this for 5 weeks and now I find myself not even eating and getting my Protein in because I'm so over it. I need to change my attitude but is anyone else struggling?
