Bonnyr, I have the same question, I am 4.5 months out and down 82 lbs, I still have a ways to go but soooo cold all the time. I hope sunny summer weather gets here soon! BRRRR

I am now 3 1/2 months out and honestly I never had trouble with anything I ate. I feel like I have to be extra diligent with what I eat and how much because I feel like I could overdo very easily. I weigh and log everything that goes in my mouth for that reason. The up side is I have no fear of trying new exciting foods because nothing bothers my ironclad sleeve.

I was sleeved 12/2/14, I lost 26 prior to surgery and 53 since surgery for a total of 79 lbs. gone FOREVER!! Even more exciting, I have went from a snug 18W pants to a 12!!! I transformation has been unbelievable, I look good in clothes. Sure, out of clothes I look like a melting candle LOL but that's ok, I'm extremely happy with the decision I made to have surgery, It's not easy and sometimes it's not fun but the end results are so worth it. I have about 30 lbs. to go to hit the goal that my Doc set for me. When I started looking into surgery I never dreamed that in such a short time I could feel so much better physically and mentally.

Yes, I only see a pic of a man and woman, no graph.

Orange is the New Black, Torchwood, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy and I just discovered a quirky show that I really like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

I was 47 when I had surgery, one of the best decisions I ever made!

I am 13 weeks postop and have not had any bloodwork done yet, just wondering if this is unusual. I have an appt. with my surgeon this week and am planning to ask him but just curious, especially since I am losing a lot of hair.< /p>

You look wonderful! Great job!!

I make a crustless quiche that I eat everyday. You can change up the flavor profile by what you add. My favorite is bacon, swiss, green onion, roasted red peppers and mushrooms.
5 eggs
1 C cottage cheese
Any cheese, veggies, seasoning or meat you want to add. I also add 1 or 2 scoops GENEPRO to up the Protein.
Just whip together and pour into a greased pie pan. Bake at 400 F for about 30 - 35 minutes. Makes 6 good size portions.

I am 2.5 months post op, 5'4" CW 187 and I am in an 11/12, started at a tight 18W it is unfreakingbelievable how fast your body can change. You can get there!

I was sleeved December 2nd so just over 2 months out. Down 36# since surgery and 62 # overall. Feeling really good, exercise is getting easier and my self esteem is starting to rebound! Best decision ever!!

I was in the hospital for 2 nights. Off 4 weeks, physically I could have gone back sooner but I have a mentally taxing, very detailed job and I felt mentally fuzzy so I took longer than the 3 weeks my Dr. recommended.

At my appointment with my Nut today, she said that I should not be using any Protein suppliments, I should be able to get 60 - 80 g of protein from the foods I eat. I am supposed to have 500 to 600 calories a day, 3 meals a day and no snacking. What is everybody else eating to meet these requirements? I am 7 weeks out.

I was sleeved Dec. 2nd, got to come home this afternoon. I am very surprised at how good I feel. My incisions are sore but overall I feel great. I can still drink normal, I was never a chugger but still I am surprised.

@@crystalmaries I have been using Premier Protein and Kelloggs to go shakes, the Carnation Breakfast Essentials that the Dr, recommended did not agree with me at all. Lots of greek yogurt and unsweetened cinnamon applesauce. I am allowed Tomato Soup also but I can't face it anymore, I ate it once a day for the first 8 days. I am also allowed 1 Protein Bar a day and I usually eat Quest bars for that.

It has went really well, I'm really surprised that the liquid diet has not bothered me. How are things going for you?

I am on day 4 of 14 and I am very tired by the end of the work day but having trouble sleeping at night. I think my mind is to occupied with the excitement of surgery getting so close! My date is December 2nd.

I'm on day 4 of 14 and I have to say that I have been pleasantly surprised that it really is not bothering me. I was shocked when I hopped on the scale this morning, I am down 9 lbs!

I started my pre-op diet today for my Dec 2nd surgery. Doing good so far but I am allowed to have Tomato Soup and oatmeal so that part is good. I'm sure I will get tired of eating Tomato Soup after a few days but it will all be worth it in the end! We've got this!

Good luck! Keep us updated on how you are doing.

I still love my coffee but the way I justify it is to use Premier Protein vanilla shake in place of Creamer and then add sugar free flavoring, usually vanilla or hazelnut. Still yummy but I get some Protein with it.
