Anyone else having tons of gurgling and noise in their tummy upon the first sip? What the heck is this? I have one tiny bite of yogurt and lots of noise, and every bite after that. One sip of broth and it sounds like my tummy is attacking something, and continues until I finish. Also doing this with the Protein Drinks. It's like an animal is in there! WTH?

I had pizza too! I'm sure missing it already! I ususally order it about every other Sunday and well that was yesterday. My son would eat it for Breakfast during the school week. Ah well a new leaf, liquid diet... and surgery on Friday.

Ok it has hit bad... that awful metallic taste! I'm in ketosis,(even checked with a ketostick) and everything tastes like crap. I can hardly finish my shakes, I'm trying to eat my chicken/spinach/lettuce salad. Gag! Anyone else having this yet?

oy vey! Yep we are suffering here too. I had my date wrong.. sugery is the 5th, but I have to be there for an appointment on the 3rd. I'm stressing too, I'd say all my practice on the HCG diets is getting me through. But TOM is due in 2 days and all I want to do is munch and crunch and eat food. Not that I am that hungry... but just want to be putting food in to satisfy my hormonal need to eat. I do get one meal a day that is supposed to be lean meat and vege's..... however there has been butter on my veges and the meat hasn't been that lean. No carbs though so I am pulling through in that department..... I had a lettuce wrap tonight - but I put 1/2 an avacodo on it.... :-/

We never got a full run down of exactly what the lean and green meal must have, or can't have, or a limitation on that meal. Yikes!

Hang in there everyone, we have all waited this long, we can do another week!

I'm also on this date too, me and my boyfriend are both on this day. Our pre op is Protein shakes and one "lean and green" meal a day. We start that this next Saturday. Excited!

Hey there I am also doing surgery with a 34.5 BMI at this time. I am trying to gain a few pounds right before the liquid diet. I am self paying, and to do that I am going out of state. It appears Florida, Texas, and Nevada have the lower "all inclusive" prices. I was attempting again to lose weight when I made the decision that I can lose it again for the same result - gain it back. So i had lost 5 pounds... now I'm trying to gain it back. The Doctors office I am choosing says that they do them with BMI's >30.

I am going with Dr. Umbach in Las Vegas. My insurance has an exclusion to anything weight loss related, so I'm self pay no matter what.
