Sorry I didn't finish my post, but you will have to find support elsewhere.. Like on these forums! I started an Instagram page for my surgery journey and all of the people that I follow are soo supportive. I really believe once you start your journey, your family and friends will come around. Once they realize how much happier you are! Good luck to you! I'm tmarie40nfab_sleever on Instagram if you want to follow me!!

Hello...I am a newcomer in the "choosing a Dr. stage". I am looking to communicate with people who live in my area. I would love to get some reviews on the surgeons in my area.

Hello All....I am scheduled for December 5th. I start my 2 week Liquid Protein diet on Nov. 20th so no turkey for me. I am in Louisiana. My process really hasn't taken that long. I started everything the beginning of August. The one thing that held me up was having to lose 15-30 pounds in order for my documents to be submitted to the insurance company. This is when I realized that this is a mental journey. I couldn't get it together at first and then in two weeks I had lost 14 pounds and still losing. Getting nervous but it has to be done. Looking forward to sharing my experience!
