  4. Hi new how are you?
  5. Your port is on the other side right? Did you have gas pains after surgery? That is the only pain I can remember that was really bothering me. Oh yeah and some port tenderness. Let us know what the doctor says.

  7. Hey where did the pie go?
  8. No carbs please. Good cheat foods are salad, I mean green lettuce, broiled fish and boiled chicken if you have to eat something. You did real good, keep it up.
  9. Ok I see you are not going to eat this stuff since you keep losing weight. At least give me a piece of the pie the little man is walking on. LOL
  10. No Doug this does not suck because if you did not get these test you could have been in real heart trouble. It is a blessing that they have found this early enough to be treated without consequences. So no running any marathons until this is done. Oh yeah congratulations on the December 26 band date. LOL Hey that's your Christmas present.
  11. I haven't seen this thread in forever. I had such a suprisingly wonderful night that I thought I would pull it out again. WOW I was really walking bake in the day. I'm really the thread above this one. I must have been having a great day then also. Last night was the final Take the Challenge closing ceremony. You remember the one on Mondays for 2 hours. One hour exercise and one hour nutrition. Well I had a ball. My girlfriend who passed away earlier this year, her mom and sister came with me and the group gave them a lily, gift bags and certificates of participation. That warmed my heart. They had asked me to speak, I wonder why, my big mouth guess. Anyhow, I have realized I am a true ham and I try to stay humble but it is hard when you want to pork it up. LOL I received so many things last night and it was great because my sister was there. I received a gift certificate from a hair salon, a $50 Target gift card, little radio, certificates and motivational tapes. Woohoooo I racked up. I have to say I am glad I did not get the gift certificate for the gym. LOL These things were for most improved bmi, one of the best losers and some I can't remember. The best loser lost 30 pounds:eek: . I have to say I love my band and my support groups. Love you LBT!!!

After fighting with her insurance company and then changing companies she finally has the tool that she has been waiting for over a year. Patience is her middle name and she has been rewarded for her patience. GOOOOOOOO Crystalstar11 :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  16. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=96366366 R&B crooner Gerald Levert dies at 40 By NEKESA MUMBI MOODY, AP Music WriterSat Nov 11, 1:36 AM ET Gerald Levert, the fiery singer of passionate R&B love songs and the son of O'Jays singer Eddie Levert, died Friday. He was 40. His label, Atlantic Records, confirmed that Levert died at his home in Cleveland, Ohio. "All of us at Atlantic are shocked and deeply saddened by his untimely death. He was one of the greatest voices of our time, who sang with unmatched soulfulness and power, as well as a tremendously gifted composer and an accomplished producer," the label said in a statement. Dan Bomeli, public relations manager at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center in suburban Cleveland, said Levert had been brought to the hospital. Bomeli said Levert had died but he had no further details. Levert's family released a statement asking for privacy. "As everybody knows, Gerald was a man who loved and breathed music. To his family and friends he was a man of strong character, who had an infectious personality and a zest for life. For his fans, his greatest love was touching the hearts and souls of all people through his music. At this very difficult time, we thank you for your prayers and hope you will understand our need for privacy," the statement read. Patti LaBelle, who had worked and recorded with Levert, said he "was like a son" to her. "He was such a great entertainer. It's not for real to me that he is gone ... Nobody was prepared for this." LaBelle added that she hopes to sing at Levert's funeral. "It's very sad. He was an amazing talent, obviously," friend and fellow R&B singer Will Downing said. "Gerald was a hard worker. He would go out there and do his thing, and be in places where the folks were. He would touch the people, and that's really what it's all about." Over his two-decade music career, Levert sold millions of albums and had numerous R&B hits. Levert first gained fame in 1986 as a member of the R&B trio LeVert, which also included his brother, Sean, and childhood friend Marc Gordon. They quickly racked up hits like "(Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop) Goes My Mind," "Casanova," and "Baby I'm Ready." But Gerald Levert's voice — powerful and soulful, almost a carbon copy of his father's — was always the focal point, and in 1991, he made his solo debut with the album "Private Line," which included a hit duet with his dad, "Baby Hold on to Me." His father also recorded the successful album "Father & Son." Levert was known for his sensual, romantic songs, but unlike Luther Vandross, whose voice and songs were more genteel, Levert's music was explosive and raw — his 2002 album was titled "The G Spot." "When we would do shows together, we would get on stage and battle for the hearts of women. Every night, that was our thing," Downing said. Though Levert was successful as a solo singer, in 1997 he got into group mode again — joining with R&B singers Johnny Gill and Keith Sweat for the supergroup of LSG. The self-titled album sold more than two million copies, and their hits included the sensual "My Body." Levert also worked with other artists as a songwriter and producer. His most recent album was 2005's "Voices." Levert had four children. ___

Sugar free has been my middle name lately. Pudding, jello and crystal light have been in the fridge and on my lips all weekend. I will continue to make this a wonderful habit. I am excited about getting to 375 and 350. I turn 40 next July and I am ready. I pray that I get there healthy. I can see my body changing and I am excited.

WOW Kutia you are doing amazing. You have made some awesome changes in your food planning. You are just like a girlscout, PREPARED!
  20. OK so what is the surgery date? Today is Monday!!!
  21. Hey that is great, I guess you didn't take a bite of the little ginger bread man on your ticker. Wait a minute I can catch him.....
  22. I wanna see also. The link is not working. Tip on the liquid, sugar free drinks made into a slushy by putting it in the blender with ice. Yummmo
  23. Hey what you are going through is very normal. Take it one meal at a time. Cheating is relative, fish, salad, something small. Start meditating and focus on your goal. Cheat with a small bite and then say good bye fat. Start making the little changes now. Keep sugar free pudding or jello in the fridge. You will find it is better then you think. It will be so worth it.
  24. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! KEEP IT GOING!!!

You go girl!!!! Keep it up, I'm right there with you. I started lifting hand weights yesterday. Since moving I have been running up and down the stairs. I actually layed sod (fake grass) Saturday and I still feel it today and the back of my thighs. I consider every little bit calorie burning exercise. Come on girl let's get this right.
