Yes there are many support groups throughout the state, however the one I'm looking to start is based from Bariatric Pal. I live in Lansing but I didn't have my surgery in the state. It's more of a thing to connect outside a surgeons office and have support from local people.

OH i misunderstood what you were trying to do i have no support besides this page. i had a girl that had surgery around the same time as i did. i would send her encouragement but never really got anything out of the situation.
