  2. You are welcome. I have seen recipes for Nutella on Pinterest made with ground hazelnuts (made in a food processor) but that is too much trouble for me. Most people probably don't like the extreme dark chocolate flavor that I like, but that's why I said to decrease the chocolate and increase the honey if you wanted a sweeter chocolate.

    Thanks for your tips thomasmite. I agree with you on the fresh fruit and vegetables. I can usually eat fruit okay, but I have a harder time eating vegetables with my band. I just ordered a juicer and I can't wait for it to come in! I am looking forward to getting in some great nutrients without having to struggle with the pain of eating it.

    I had a bad stomach virus yesterday and obviously it affected my band because I couldn't really eat real food today. b'fast~ coffee, then fruit smoothie lunch~ few bites of cooked spinach (did not go down well) snack~ choc pb banana Protein smoothie dinner~ bowl of chicken noodle soup (chick-fil-a) snack~ banana pumpkin smoothie calories~1,137 no exercise- very tired and achy from yesterday
  8. Stephyanders, I have a Ninja prep blender now, but it's a really old one. Thanks for the info. Not sure if this is the one you are refering to, but I just looked up the Ninja™ NJ600 Professional Blender ($99.99) and it seems to compare well to the Healthmaster. The reviews were mixed though. The Healthmaster is digital and can be set to make hot soup from raw vegetable form in 8 minutes. Does yours have that feature?
  9. I have been trying to decide whether I want a new high performance blender or a juicer, and this product seems to do both, or close to it, and it cost less than the others. The best feature is that you can put the whole fruit or vegetable in it and it is suppose to liquify even the peeling (the most nutritious part). It seems like the way to go, but I would love to hear from someone who has one. Thanks!

    JennyBee, I'm doing great! I am down 40 lbs, but I've lost about 20 of those pounds in the past 6 weeks. My journey has been a rollercoaster to say the least, but things are going great right now. How about you?

  13. I always buy $25 worth so I get free shipping on Amazon. One of these days I'm going to go to Bell Plantation. Supposedly it's in a town about 25 minutes away from my house. I've just been to lazy to try to figure out where it is, lol.

    4/4/2012 I rarely ever fall below 1,000 calories but I have felt kinda "blah" today and didn't have much of an appetite.     Haha...I do love cooking! I've always called myself a creative "wannabe" chef, lol. I love to just get in the kitchen and create something new. But baking on the other hand, forget it! I hate measuring and I hate instructions. This is why I relate to Rachael Ray so much, lol.
  18. Well, that's the only "food item" I've ever ordered from Amazon and it was fine. It comes in a sealed jar, like Peanut Butter does, and they also have some that comes in sealed bags....depends on which brand you get.
  19. I love it too! I was getting kind of low, so I ordered some more from amazon today. I ordered the regular and the kind that has the chocolate in it. I'm excited to try it in my smoothies!! It's basically ground up peanuts. It comes in powder form. You add a little Water to it and mix it and it comes out kind of the consistency of peanut butter. It has 85% less fat and much less calories than regular peanut butter.

    Right now, I alternate between interval jogging/walking and Bob Harper's Beginner's Weight Loss Transformation DVD. Bob's video is a beast of a workout! You go from weights, to squats, to prisoner lunges, to weights again, to jumping jacks, to plank exercises, to push ups, to weights again.....you get the drift. It's brutal and there are no breaks. It's a great workout!

    1 c. almond milk 1 sliced frozen banana 1/2 c. pure pumpkin puree 2 tbsp nutella (made my own with PB2 powder, cocoa, honey, and water) Blend all together and enjoy!
