Be able to eat without feeling like the world is staring at me. 6. Look in the mirror and see a face and body that doesn't make me depressed. 5. Take 100 selfies and love them. As of now I have maybe 4... Total. 4. Ride on an airplane. Won't do it now. I'm sparing myself the embarrassment. 3. Buy panties ( SEXY ONES) from a normal store that fit. 2. Go on a vacation as the "healthy Mal" 1. I want to stop lying to my husband and kids. They want to go to amusement parks and cruises...and I tell them I'm scared of heights... When I'm not... I just know I won't fit on the rides and it makes me feel like a huge failure...

  8. My pcp said my insurance company is notorious for denying people wanting weightless surgery, even if it is proven medically necessary. She is just preparing me. She told me that she will do whatever it takes to get me the surgery though. Gotta love that lady
  9. My pcp informed me Friday that she believes I should have the bypass instead of the sleeve. There seems to be a lot Of people that have had success with the sleeve.... Now I'm confused on which one I should do.
  10. It's a work in progress for me. I just wondered if people did certain things to help get over the pickiness. It's a scary thought to change how I have ate my entire life.
  11. That part I'm not looking forward to lol. My pcp already told me that I'll be denied and will have to appeal :/. Apparently my insurance company is notorious for it. But she said she will do whatever I need her to in order to get me this surgery! I love that lady

  15. That was exactly what I wanted to know. I didn't want to start now with my pcp and the weight loss not count towards my 10%!!!
  16. Well I will be diving into the seminar in July!!! One question I have about the pre- surgery weight loss ( my insurance requires me to lose 10% of my total weight) does that weight start from When I went to my PCP or the surgeon?
  17. I've got plenty I wanna lose lol. I just hope that everything goes smoothly on the path to getting on and off the surgeons table! Lol yeah we all have that thought in the back of our heads. I know I do... But well be knocked out up until the surgery is over we won't feel/know a thing. Which I guess is a plus for us. Like my surgeon said.. Surgery is the easy part lol..I feel so impatient because I just got started and the days seem to just dragggg lol. I'm excited though!Lol, I'm done with the 6mnths process.. Thank god. I prayed every single day that this would go good.. To my surprise so far it has ( I don't wanna jinx anything. ) I'm just waiting on that freaking call. GOD !! Please callI just got started. My pcp said that she is 99% sure the insurance will deny me and we will appeal it. My BMI is insanely high

  20. Hi everyone! I have just decided this past week to pursue weight loss surgery. My PCP says that I should have the bypass. I can't take hearing how pretty I would be if I lost weight another time. My final straw was lying to my husband..... He is taking me on a cruise for our anniversary... We were deciding on flying or driving. I lied to him... I told him I was scared of flying so we agreed We would drive to the port.... I can't take any of this anymore. I want a life of less fear and more LIVING. I just pray that I will qualify and not have any issues getting this done. I need help!!!
