I get dizzy every time I bend down and stand back up, never happened before surgery. I have heard this is a common problem after wls so I have not put much thought to it, but I don't like that feeling at all, but I can live with it.

I have a 2 yr old son and 4 yr old dd, I had to stay In hospital for 3 nights went Friday, my surgeon said I could go home on Sunday but I elected to stay one more night as I was very sore and afraid the babies would be climbing all over me to soon. We all co -sleep. My husband brought them to see me everyday though 2-3 times a day, we sent videos and talked on the phone, I missed them very much but they were the reason I wanted wls so as a 40 yr old mom I would be able to keep up with them. Don't worry you will do fine and your son will not remember you being gone once your back home.

Am struggling with this. Surgeon says not to drink 30 mins before and 30after, but I can't stand it, food makes me so thirsty I have to have a sip or two. Plus it's in the 90's here already, Water is giving me trouble also, I can drink Protein but sipping water makes me nauseous for like a Minute until I burp. All I want is to quench my thirst. Will drinking a few sips while eating stretch my pouch?

I have a 2 year old who is 25lbs,
I am 3 Weeks out and they told me another week on picking him up but I must admit I have picked him up a couple if times. It did not seem to bother me to much I just kept him on my right side where the smaller less painful incisions are. It's so hard when they are babies and just want to be held.

I would say that would be a no go! I am just over two weeks out and although I am feeling better finally, I would not want to get on a rollar coaster in another week. You'll still be sore and quick movement is not something you want to feel around you incision site!

I am also still trying to get use to sipping and not drinking with food. That is a hard one. Normally I would get thirsty and just jug a whole glass down, not anymore, so I never feel my thirst is quenched. Always parched.

I am in the same boat as you. Feeling nauseous everyday for no reason know. I am 2 weeks out. Very tired, still a lot of pain on left side. Just want to feel better! Lord help us!

I am 2 weeks post and feeling nauseous quite often, I cannot pinpoint the reason or timing, it just comes on
At different times throughout day and night. I never vomit or anything, just sickening feeling. Anyone else, or anyone know why this might be?
