Monday weigh in day! I'm sooo happy to say my scale is on the move again!
HW: 315
SW: 300 (5/27)
CW: 279.9
Tomorrow is 4 weeks out and I'm down 20 lbs SINCE surgery! I went to torrid last week and for a swim suit on clearance- no biggie really but they were having a BOGO on clearance so I grabbed a pair of jeans a size smaller- thinking these will fit me one day. Out of curiosity I put them on ya home and they fit perfect! Yeah sure I has noticed some room in my old clothing but I didn't realize I was down a size already!
Hope everyone is doing well.
Do we have anymore that want to join our PRIVATE group on Facebook? there are about ten of us there and the support is really nice!
Hi, would love to join a group on Facebook especially since its a private one.
Great news on your clothing!

Three weeks out and sleeping back to normal. I slept on my side with a pillow and hated it. Hate sleeping on my back and side. Am so happy to be sleeping on my tummy again. So comfy. Was surprised how quickly pain changed turning over. Am grateful to be at this stage already

Hi girls, I was starting to worry. I know im not pregnant. But I had my period prior to pre op drinks. I had surgery 3 weeks ago. So I haven't had it for over 5 weeks. I did have slight spotting in hospital and now nothing. I shouldn't be complaining its nice not having pain. I have polycystic ovaries. Wasn't sure if this was normal.

Oh wow! You look fantastic. Amazing. Well done with your journey. Emotions are a problem but the good thing is your trying to deal with them. Congratulations on your weight loss so far.

Im having trouble to getting the Water intake in. Dietician commented on my lips being far to dry. Im putting in all I can and will get better at it. I had a bad day the other day absolutely nothing stayed down. It eas awful, heartburn and indigestion the pitts. Surgeon wrote out a script today. Here's hoping a change is on its way. We are all still working things out and it's all very new.

Sorry forgot to say I haven't tried pasta yet! Spaghetti bolanaise is one of favorites so I hope that doesn't change to.
Funny how things are changing. Went back to work this week. It's so exhausting. Need to get energy levels up I have school camp next week!

Yes I find it really hard at recess at school. Other teachers are having coffee and im struggling! Found out why im having so much trouble I had a phone call from surgeon tonight. He said I had some sort of bacteria in my stomach which is aggrevating my heartburn and the ability to keep food down. So I will start medication tomorrow after going back into town. Looking forward to feeling better.

My diet consist of two meals of mashed veg and meat, custard and puree fruit, also wheet bixs for Breakfast. Now on 1 Multivitamin a day. Also finding coffee awful! Anyone else having problems?

Hi everyone, My name is Donna and I had my sleeving down on the 30th May. I live in a really small town in Victoria, Australia. Im glad your all doing so well. I get a little confused because I weigh in kgs not pounds. I went back to work today. Monday is only a half day for me which is great because I seriously needed a nanna nap before getting kids from school. Im eating mashed veggies and meat cut up finally. My dietician is saying after Thursday week I should be eating anything. Looking forward to having everything the same for our evening meal. Good luck everyone looking forward to hearing about your journeys.

Hi, I'm almost 3 weeks post op. Im eating mashed vegies and meat cut finely. Wheet bixs, pureed fruit and custard. At the end if 4 weeka my dietician has told me any food. She did say to tackle multigrain bread as it goes down better than white bread. Must admit I can't wait to have toast with vegemite!!

Hi, im 2 weeks out of surgery and already know this was the best decision I have ever made. I have no cravings and feel full all the time. Im up to eating mashed vegies and small amount of meat. In the past I would eat a large meal and my kids leftovers! I love food and I still do, but now I can only eat about 6-8 teaspoons of food if that. In the end you should be able to eat an entree size meal and that's it. Im looking forwards to my next few weeks. Like everyone else here have tried that many diets its embarrassing. But we have all made a decision to improve our lives. Good luck to everyone out there on their journey.
