  2. I'm 2 weeks behind you, but my nurse practitioner told me that I should avoid abdominal workouts for the first 6 weeks or so post op to give everything time to heal and settle. Try just cardio or weights and avoid and ab workouts, at least until you can talk to someone at the office.

  14. Honestly I'm glad someone else is going through this because I thought my bowels were going nuts.. It make sense. The liquid diet, at least for me, is 5 Optifast shakes and 64 oz of Water at least daily. Your body is probably gonna absorb all of the nutrients it can from the diet which doesn't leave much else to be filtered out and pushed to solid waste... gross i know but tis what it is

  16. Living in Orlando and going to theme parks as the bag holder for fear of not fitting on rides and embarrassing myself and friends. I do at least 3 hours of research to see if rides at the various parks could accommodate me.

  20. I am totally doing this to be more attractive. Other that being obese I didn't have many problems either. At 20, I decided to do the procedure now instead of trying to traverse the college dating scene at 450 lbs... it's not easy at all. And I was tired of dealing with the superficial guys that I met. Its gonna be nice to feel as attractive as people tell you.

  22. I wish I only had one day, or even two weeks... I have to lose 7% of my weight so I was put on a 3 week Optifast crystal light Jello and Water diet. I'm currently 10 days out from surgery and I've lost 10 lbs in a week which is the only thing keeping me going and fighting my hunger.....

  25. Hi all! I'm new to the forum! My date is June 9th and I'm on an all liquid diet until then. How are you all handling being on the diet? I feel like I'm hitting a wall and I'm only at day 3 of 21. Any advice?
