  1. Yesterday was my first day home. I feel pretty good. I looked at my food log for yesterday and the totals were Protein 23.8 grams and Fluids 32 oz. It was hard to get that down hoping to do better today. If not walking I am sleeping. not a lot of time to get fluids down. I learned to take pain meds. on a schedule. Thought I could do with out and awoke at 3:00am in a lot of pain.

Little by little it'll go away. I am 5 days our still having pain just not as bad as the first day back home .. Just take your meds and rack up on sleep

  2. Uer nervous, excited, happy, anxious.. There's like one million feelings going on in my tummy.. Tomorrow is my birthday which means I'll be spending the day in the hospital. But I'm ok with that.. This opportunity comes once in a lifetime. My birthday will come up for many many many many years to come. It's time to begin getting ready to head on out the door.. Tomorrow at this time I'll be bypassed and have joined the losers bench.. So exciting :D

  3. Were you put on a pre op diet ? I'm sticking to Water, crystal light, and broth .. which it's not that bad tomorrow is my day 2 and the 29 my surgery.. Did that cleanse you because your liver is suppose to shrink

Yes magnesium citrate cleansed me well.

Well it's too late for me to eat anything I've been faithful to this pre op thing .. Can I still drink the magnesium thing ?

  4. Im on the 30th right behind you! My p reop diet is eating light until day before surgery in which is watch to liquids only and nithing after midnight. Also have to take milk of mag. Monday njght and tuesday night before bed. Hope your surgery goes well!!

That's my birthday .. Good luck to you, our day is almost here and well be on the losers bench

  5. Until you show up the day of surgery, you can change your mind. The OR rooms are prepped for surgery the day before and the equipment kits and set up that are needed for a sleeve is very different from a bypass. They can change the plan around before, but not the day of sugery. Good luck to you.

Its ok I'm sticking to my bypass

  6. No its not too late. Call your doctor monday morning and tell him/her what you want to do. The doctor works for you, you are paying them so you should get what you want. Good luck to you,

Why thank you. But it already went though my insurance and all I'm set to go for surgety

Did u call? What did they say, I'm holding my breath for you to change.

No sadly I haven't called I've just been so busy lately and super super tired sore and all that ufh

  7. I heard you don't absorb the nutrients.. But I have a close friend who had the sleeve done in December and has lost no significat amount of weight.. Not everyone is the same though.. I'm worried of losing my hair, but it's vanity. Something that with treatment will grow back and my hair grows back fast. Thank god but Monday I'll call and find out with certainty my approval from my insurance takes a day.
