  1. Yeah I was the same way I take pain meds for back pain everyday. I used myralax for 3 days,finally I took one women's laxative. Worked the next day.

  4. I put an ice pack on my belly and used the heat pad for the pain in my shoulder. After 3 days I alternated heat and ice on my belly.
  5. I'm so amazed you could work . I couldn't do anything for a week! Dont do too much. You had major surgery and your body really needs to heal for you to be successful. As I said before please rest and take care ofyourself!
  6. How did work go. I agree your tough. No way I could do anything that soon. Try to rest some. Your body needs time to heal!
  7. Ugh my surgery was the 26th .lost 10 lbs, gained 5 back..gotta stay off the scales .
  8. I love riding a bike. I'm not sure how long I'll have to wait to anything but walk. How long did you wait? Going to ask my Dr soon.
  9. Don't feel bad about 15 mins.that great.go slow and work up to more.doing awesome.

  12. So sorry this is happening to you..I've always believed that you have to be persistent to really get things done especially with Drs..Call, aggravate, whatever you have to do! I've had to do this because of many health reasons. No one cares more about you than you!!! squeaky wheel!!! Good luck and God bless you both!

  16. My surgery was the 26th..was impossible the first week to get protein but once you can have shakes its pretty easy to get enough.

  19. That's true about the sleep. I've been sleeping much better than before.
  20. Hey I feel for you..I had that too. Sipping water slower helps and alternating between heat and an ice pack helped me. If you can find it I've been told that anise tea helps as well.

  22. By about a week post op you will feel pretty good. Good luck to both of you!
  23. I felt more energy because I cut out sugar ! Amazing how sluggish sugar makes me feel.
