So different for everyone..I went for my six week follow up and didn't get a fill..I get full very easily and drink well..Surgeon said weight loss was fantastic and that I had no need of a fill. My band has no saline. I guess its placement is really tight but he said that could change..I could need a fill in a few weeks. So you really can't compare yourself, it will all come together and work just fine. Best of luck to you. -

So very true. Hardest part is not comparing yourself to others! I have a hard time with that. -

I'm so sorry that your support system is lacking. That first liquid stage was the worst..when you get to full liquids it should be better for you.

You need 4 to 6 weeks to completely recover! Wth? Are they serious ..I didn't do anything but rest, walk, and take care of myself for a week!

Had to go back to liquids the last few days. Still feels tight in my chest. Going to stay on liquids a few more days. I am feeling better though.

Yeah I talked to them Thursday. They just said that it was irritated. Feeling better but I'll probably give them another call Mon.

I know we shouldn't compare ourselves to others but its hard not to. I lost 10 lbs preop and only 12 post op. Seems like everyone else is doing so much better .I'm struggling to get 800 calories a day. Sorry just venting!
